Lovely Sicilian city with lots to explore and great food options while doing so. Getting a boat trip around the island was the icing on the cake.

I was curious to go to the ocean so took the cable car down to the beach. It was completely filled with lounge chairs so really not much area to walk around and explore.
    Just okay

Magnificent landscapes and very interesting archaeological excavations, but it is a shame the precarious state of the signs, the island is not valued as deserve.

A beautiful island, somewhat underrated but well worth a visit if you ever go to Sicily. Within easy reach of Palermo by hydrofoil, it offers accommodation, delicious seafood restaurants, boat trips off the coast and hikes. Great if you like diving but also if you just enjoy plunging into the unspoilt Mediterranean Sea away from the crowds. If you can, avoid July and August due to the searing heat but having said that , it’s enjoyable April through October….

This is a beautiful and quiet island. It is very small, probably 4 miles ish long. It is not over developed at all and is peaceful. The main town is small but has a lot of variety of places to eat and drink. There are some beautiful beaches but these tend to get quite busy in peak session (it's a popular resort for Italian's). Ideal for a week or rest and relaxation/ a couple's holiday

Pantelleria is an excellent respite from the fast and hectic life on the sicilian resorts. I would recommend to anyone that wishes to relax and enjoy the slow island life.

Nice lace to visit. This seems to be the only worthwhile place to get off and have a good look at if you are on the tourist jump on / jump off bus.
Nice interesting shaped, rocky outcrops and a walkway around the harbour.
Worth 1 hour of your time, (unless eating)

A bit of a though climb from the beach but worth it as view from the top is breath taking and the Bronze Age village ruins well preserved.

Lampedusa is the southern most island under the Italian Republic, (with a convenient airport too), it has a number of incredible and marvellous beaches! The flagship beach is the well know ISOLA DEI CONIGLI - RABBIT ISLAND! The colour of the water in the morning is magnificent! It is such a unique experience. Unfortunately July and August are really busy months to go there, plus they were some limitations due the risk of rocks falling down and the cliffs, and the presence of the environmental italian association Lega Ambiente focused on protecting the turtles eggs (Caretta Caretta specie), even if this year I saw them only the Guitgia beach not here.
Anyway marvellous experience. It has be to be done!!!
