We booked a tour for 4 people via the website. It was easy to book and Massimo emailed us straight away to confirm.

In the day we were picked up at 10am by Antonio who was our guide for the day. He was very knowledgeable and told us on the drive to the winery about the landscape etc.

We drove for about 45 minutes and learnt so much about the local area.

Upon arrival at the Gambino Vineyard we were welcomed with cold glasses of white wine and a talk by Nino. He was really nice and very funny too. We had a short tour of the cellar and learnt about the wine making process, grapes etc.

We had a lunch prepared with local fresh foods and wine tasking. The wine was amazing…so much we ordered lots to be sent to the UK!

After photos etc we drive to a local farmhouse restaurant where we had a lunch again with local foods and more wine! Food was delicious and definitely some of the best local produce we have tasted.

After this we returned to our hotel.

Overall this was a fantastic day and we have made some great memories.

    Thank you Massimo and team.

I would highly recommend this tour. We were picked up on time from our hotel by our guide Rosy together with driver Alessandro in a nice car. We were very happy with Rosy and her friendly way of making sure we saw/experienced everything on the Etna segment. We took the cable car up to 7000 ft and got some amazing pics of Etna and the craters there. Decided not to take the 4x4 to the 9000 ft level because of time.

The Gambino Winery was an excellent experience as well. Beautiful place and great wines, very hospitable people. We ended up buying a case to be shipped back to the US.

Ask for Rosy, she’s top class

We had an amazing time with Karolina. She was a great fun guide to the two big markets in Palermo and many of the main sights. She adapted to what we wanted to try and when stalks were closed or out of something. And we were so glad we'd spent a bit more on a private tour when we saw large groups being herded through the markets wearing earpieces so they could hear their guide. Karolina left us with a real passion for Palermitan food and a hunger for more (after a quick nap).

We stopped off in Sicily as part of a cruise and we were looking for a trip to take in the sights and taste some Sicilian wines. Roberto our guide was punctual and met us at the port. He was very friendly and enthusiastic about Sicily. His English was excellent. Our first stop was to taste local honey, olive oil and wines - all delicious. Even our fussy children found something they liked! The next stop was at the top of Etna - amazing views from the top. Roberto was very knowledgable and made it interesting for the children. Our final stop at the family owned Gambino winery was excellent. We had wine tasting with food pairing. Delicious wine and food - a really good selection for us and they made pasta for the children.

There is no way that we could have experienced all this if we had tried to organise it ourselves. The day was excellent and really well organised and Roberto was first class!

Very enjoyable three and a bit hours with knowledgeable guide exploring street food (and drink) and more. Agatha took time to explain mush about this interesting city along with its food and culture.

It was an excellent introduction to Cataina and one I would reccomend wholeheartedly

We were in Palermo for our honeymoon and the wine tour with Marco has been the highlight of our trip thus far!! Super informative, fun, and great wines! Do not hesitate to book a tour- they love what they do and it shows :-) the places Marco took us, we wouldn’t of found without the tour. Book with streaty, you won’t regret it!!

Great experience even if you’ve already been for a few days in Sicily tasting food. The guide (Alfredo) explained every dish in detail and was able to show the importance of good food and wine for the Sicilians. The chosen restaurants were really nice and located in significant points of Taormina. Really a great experience.

Cristina met us as arranged at 18:30. Very knowledgeable about Ortigia and the history. She walked us through the streets to our first restaurant where we tried a platter of various specialities of the area plus prosecco and a white wine. All were delicious. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable too. A short walk later we reached our second destination ticked away on a side road. We then enjoyed a variety of brushetta together with two very different red wine. Finally after another short walk around the streets we arrived at the Duomo and restaurant opposite which served delicious sweet treats together with a sweet wine. Overall a great evening with good company.

I booked a street foods/local history and legends tour.... I spent the late morning walking around Cefalu with Ambra, a local tour guide. Ambra made the morning very relaxing, informative, and appetizing! Around hearing about Cefalu's history and some local legends, she treated me to pane e panelle, an arancina, sfincione, and a few almond pastry bites. She did the tour for me in English and it was very relaxing and fun. For reference I found Ambra on her website called ambratourleader . Highly recommended!

We had a very nice tour, with interesting aspects. We saw flamingo’s, we toured thru the lagune of mothia which was a spectacular experience with beautiful scenery. Our guide was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. Wine tasting and walk thru the cellars was very interesting. A must see!

We spent a weekend in this beautiful city in october and we relied on Pristelli to get to know every corner. Our guide was very kind and professional. The Roman theater is truly unique. We were also very satisfied with the tasting of traditional Sicilian food and local wine at the end of the excursion

Agata took us to so many lovely and unusual eating places, tasted some great food. Very attentive and personalised tour, as it was a small group. Advice - do not eat before the tour, or you cannot do justice to it all!
