    Review of: CSTRents - Taormina Segway PT Authorized Tour
    City Tour - Easy, Fun, and Efficient
    Our family of 6 (mom and dad 50+, four kids 16-24) toured Taormina for 2-3 hrs and saw all the key spots in a much more efficient way than a walking tour. Given the hilly terrain, it was also much easier than walking or climbing steps! The activity began with training us to use the Segways properly which took about 20 minutes. We were accompanies throughout by an excellent guide and the Segway guy (who was responsible for the equipment and our safety). Sometimes navigating through or around crowds, narrow streets, and vehicle traffic was a bit cumbersome, particularly given that we were a line of six people. Overall, a great way to learn about a new town on your first or only day there.

    Review of: Messina Shore Excursion: City Segway Tour
    Segways are Cool!
    We really enjoyed seeing Messina by Segway. Our tour guide was a local and provided a lot of information about the city. It was a great way to see the city. The meeting point was correct in all of our communications but the guide was a few minutes late and there wasn’t any signage or Segways anywhere so we thought we were in the wrong place. We called the host and waited a few minutes for our guide to show up.

    Review of: CSTRents - Syracuse Segway PT Authorized Tour
    Fun tour
    We enjoyed our segway tour of Ortigia. We hit all the high spots and learned the local history along the way. Our guide was personable and knowlegdable.

    Review of: CSTRents - Catania Segway PT Authorized Tour
    Cool place to segway
    Our family of six is experienced with Segways. There is a lot to see in Catania, especially the tremendous views of Mt Etna. The tour itself was just ok but this is still a fun way to get introduced to a place.

    Review of: CSTRents - Palermo Segway PT Authorized Tour
    No Segway
    I do not recommend trusting your holiday entertainment to CSTRents. We booked and paid for Segway tours in 3 locations (Naples, Palermo and Taormina) and all were cancelled. The bookings were for late April/early May and there was nothing on Viator that indicated there should be trouble. Here’s how the process went for all 3:
    A) booking made and paid for on Viator. Voucher received.
    B) within 24-48 hours of the booking, Leo will email you and say there are insufficient people for a tour. We booked for 2 people and made these bookings in February. So it’s hardly surprising others haven’t booked yet, and it’s bizarre they would try and dissuade you from doing so when they make this option available on Viator.
    C) a couple of days before the booking, Leo will email you again and offer a “private tour” if you double what you have already paid, or a refund
    So naturally we asked for a refund. I genuinely don’t understand their business model - it’s either incompetent to offer something at a time you’re not going to run it, or extortionate to demand double for what has been advertised.
    Bottom line is DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE PEOPLE. They won’t deliver. Plan on doing something else with your time.

    Review of: CSTRents - Cefalù Segway PT Authorized Tour
    Fun, but not the best.
    We had a great time and the segways were fun to ride, however, the route of the tour was on some busy streets and involved some construction zones and was difficult to navigate. In addition, the headsets did not work well the ENTIRE tour and the majority of us missed out on the tour information as a result for the majority of the tour. They were unable to fix the issue regardless of what they did.
