A really fantastic shop, an extremely lovely owner, who was very helpful and informative. Will definitely go back and purchase other items when we return.

I walked into Salvadore’s shop looking for a ceramic olive oil pourer, and walked out with Christmas presents for my whole family. He is the only one who makes the ceramic Christmas trees in Caltagirone. These ceramic Christmas trees are so beautifully detailed, you can really tell he put a good amount of time and effort into each piece. You must stop by this shop when visiting Caltagirone.

We have visited the shop in Easter this year and were impressed with the designs and quality. Great colour! We bought to matching lamps of different sizes and a vase.
Everything was packed nicely, when produced and delivered to Madrid without any delay in a perfect condition. Thank you Ivano. Very happy with the purchase and can highly recommend

I bought foodie gifts for myself and for friends. I was overjoyed to find such a delightful array of yummy goodies. I bought more here than anywhere else on my trip. The proprietors were lovely and welcoming and readily provided samples. My Italian was terrible but thankfully they spoke a little English. Now that I am home and have tried some of what I bought, I want to purchase more for myself!!

If you go to Syracusa, don‘t miss visiting Domenica‘s cheramica! What she manufactures is so beautiful! She fulfilled all our special wishes concerning form and colour , the shipping to Germany was perfect and in time. The prices are very fair. So lucky to have found her!

I found this small ceramic workshop on a hidden street in Aidone (a small town in Sicily where the Venere di Morgantina is now displayed) What a treat it was seeing where the pieces that are sold there, are made and painted. The owner is a confident young woman, Serena, who was helpful and kind. She answered my questions and kindly packed my purchase to travel. I loved it :-)

Stopped by here to buy some chocolate . The staff will help you choose. The tour was full so could not do that. Looked interesting so that was a shame

Visited twice during our short stay, and this place is fantastic. The sandwiches are great, good value for money, and the staff couldn’t be more welcoming and friendly. I would highly recommend visiting at least once (you’ll end up coming back a lot more!)

Wide variety of choices regarding fresh fruits, vegetables and seafood. Everything is fresh and tastes marvellous. You can drink fresh squeezed juice there, have some oysters with wine and - what we did - buy some products of low availability in other countries. Amazing place, would definitely be there regularly if I lived in Siracuse!

La Pasticceria Maria Grammatico is a traditional confectionery in Erice with a rich history. There are a lot of delicacies to choose from and the almond based sweets are exceptional. Well worth a visit (and taste)!

The town of Bronte near Catania was one of the best day-trips we took while exploring this region. When we drove into this small town we were confronted with the mail street being closed to all through traffic.
We soon realized that the town was celebrating the infamous "Pistachio Festival". {Goggle - Pistacchio Di Bronte {CT}. This was a fantastic day-trip that is full of great memories.

    Ciao,

We came across this place whilst wandering around after dinner - what a place! It stocks all sorts of food products from the local area including lots of tuna products but also pasta, chocolate from Modica, sauces, dried tomatoes from nearby Pachino, liqueurs, wines and more. Really interesting place to look around and good to buy gifts to take home or just for yourself. Open from 8am to midnight (closed 1pm-2.30pm)

We popped into this shop looking for olive oil and other gifts. After walking through, we saw they had a small restaurant in the back in their garden.

We enjoyed one of the freshest (and cheapest) lunches we had during our travels. Don't miss ordering their caprese salad - just wonderful.

Come here for a delicious fresh meal and well-priced gifts to take home. We purchased limoncello, pasta, and a selection of olive oils
