The most modern square in the city. Here is the tallest skyscraper in Italy, as well as many eateries and cafes.

I visited here alone. I came across The Corso Como completely by chance. I had taken the commuter train in to Garibaldi and went walking. It is a fabulous, clean, somewhat posh area. There are restaurants, cafées and shops. This area connects the Square to the city centre. I would not walk to the centre, of course I took the Metro from Garbaldi. Visit here on a sunny day, as it outdoors unless One goes in to a restaurant or café etc. Really worht visiting. Not far from here is Eataly where can buy really nice wines, pasta and anything italian at great prices.

Food was good but overpriced. Beer way too expensive. Also service was a bit slow and not interested. Location very pretty.

This is a nice district or region to hang out and watch some eye-catching architecture besides some nice stores for shopping.

Modern architecture. In another city you might be delighted but in Milan the buildind is losing to the masters of the Renesanse period. It is part of a new business and financial center of the city, built of wooden frames and a glass shell without a column in its interior.

I had never seen a church like this before. It seems to be 2 churches side by side with the same façade. Inside there are 2 separate aisles and what appears to be an altar at the head of each aisle. I don't know how it must work. I presume services are given at separate times in the different aisles. Originally it was one church built in the Middle Ages and a convent was built alongside it in the 15th century. It's rather weird and unique.

The gallery hosts photo artist and the shows are changing every now and then, so you are always in for something new.
The artists are world renound and the gallery space is perfect for such a show.
Dont miss a visit to the roof garden.
The art shop is somewhat expensive but has a large verity of books and urban/contemporary art pieces to choose from.
And at last, the area is beutifull, perfect for an espresso after.
You will spend 1-1.5 hours of great art in a great atmosphere. Recommended!

This whole area is suprisingly quiet and calm, given how close it is to the city centre. Nice area to have a easy walk.

This is a popular spot with the Milanese crowd and for researchers. The café ordering process was just too long, not enough staff on board, patience and time are a must, even in fast paced Milan.
