I visited here alone. I came across The Corso Como completely by chance. I had taken the commuter train in to Garibaldi and went walking. It is a fabulous, clean, somewhat posh area. There are restaurants, cafées and shops. This area connects the Square to the city centre. I would not walk to the centre, of course I took the Metro from Garbaldi. Visit here on a sunny day, as it outdoors unless One goes in to a restaurant or café etc. Really worht visiting. Not far from here is Eataly where can buy really nice wines, pasta and anything italian at great prices.
