The abbazzia is a magic place. The Church is full of istory, for me the most interesting is the istory of Guglielmina di boema, a fantastic woman That changed the point of view of many person. Is necessary to read same book to understand the huge quantity of spirituality and passion of this place. A place to visit!

What an interesting museum. The campus is very nice and has multiple buildings, lots of great art to see and food for thought. Some of the exhibitions were not kid-friendly, so maybe not for families. The Wes Anderson bar was very cool, make sure to have a drink there.

Impressive library with thousands of very old leather bound books and beautiful domed and frescoed ceilings. A relaxing place to study or to while away a few hours with a Kindle

This is a traditional street that is side by side to one of the canal streets.

It was close to one of the hotel we stayed in Navigli.

An area with local shops and a more traditional Italian feel.

Beautiful old pool in a great location. Initially we were so excited to find somewhere to swim in the hot weather during our stay in Milano. We expected an entry fee of 5 euro per person as stated in a google search of the pool. The fee had since increased to 7 euros per person. As my daughter and I started to enter the pool, we were halted by a lifeguard who told us we could not swim unless we had a swimming cap. News to us since the girl at the entrance who took our money had failed to mention this. Questioning him further, I discovered that caps were available to hire at a cost of 3.90 euros each. He said if we didn't want to hire a cap we could stay in the shallow end of the pool and only on the edge. I understand the policy, what offends me is the extra cost and not being told this at the entrance. A public swimming pool is supposed to be family friendly. In effect, we paid 28 euros for our family to sit in the heat and look at a lovely pool. Not what I consider a good day out. Oh and by the way, you can use the sun beds; at an extra cost of 3 euros a day.
