This was a great way to get a quick hits/highlights tour of Cinque Terre. It was a long day trip (7am-8pm). I enjoyed seeing three different stops in Cinque Terre. Manarola was particularly beautiful, but the tour stop didn't allow enough time to get up to the more iconic viewpoints that Cinque Terre is known for. Monterosso was also beautiful, but we really only had time for lunch there. Portovenere was incredibly scenic, but the time was also short. The ferry ride was the least interesting part of the whole tour. The views were mediocre and hard to catch from the crowded boat - also, the tour guide did not share any information with us about what we were seeing from the ferry, other than sharing a map in advance. To see the experience from a bus, train, and ferry was good though; the multiple viewpoints did provide perspective as to the size and scope of the entire national park. I recommend this for travelers who are looking for an overview-type experience, but it may not suit everyone's needs beyond building context for future visits.
