Lunch in a small town and then the amazing Bernina train ride. The scenery will take your breath away and you will be snapping pictures left and right--literally. Snow capped Alps and skiers, a glacier, and vistas to die for. We then enjoyed a short trip into St Moritiz. Tour guide Guilla was outstanding. Lake Como was a bit crowded for the Pascua holiday, the boat was more a ferry with lots of stops than a cruise, but the overall experience was great. We realise that we only had less than an hour in St Moritz however we knew that going in so we weren’t disappointed. Our guide Immie was fabulous and accommodated everyone. I would highly recommend this tour just an excuse to get out of busy Milan city. Go Buckeyes--small world. Enjoyed the day of traveling to cheese country, with lunch at an wonderful local restaurant, followed by trip to dry stone wall vineyard and winery for tour and tasting. - omaryjeanDenver, CO35 contributionsThis was a great way to get a quick hits/highlights tour of Cinque Terre. It was a long day trip (7am-8pm). I enjoyed seeing three different stops in Cinque Terre. Manarola was particularly beautiful, but the tour stop didn't allow enough time to get up to the more iconic viewpoints that Cinque Terre is known for. Monterosso was also beautiful, but we really only had time for lunch there. Portovenere was incredibly scenic, but the time was also short. The ferry ride was the least interesting part of the whole tour. The views were mediocre and hard to catch from the crowded boat - also, the tour guide did not share any information with us about what we were seeing from the ferry, other than sharing a map in advance. To see the experience from a bus, train, and ferry was good though; the multiple viewpoints did provide perspective as to the size and scope of the entire national park.
