Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We bought the skip the line pass and it was totally worth it. We loved everything we saw. The Duomo is undergoing some restoration so there is some scaffolding around the cathedral but the views from the top and the amazing architectural work is incredible. I highly recommend spending a couple of hours there.

I admit, it took determination to figure out how to book our tickets but man oh man, it was worth it! Seeing “The Last Supper” was emotionally overwhelming. This was an incredible experience neither my husband or I will ever forget. The church, too, is stunning. Simple. Stunningly beautiful.

The castle is free to walk around. You will need several hours to see the whole thing including the museum which is only 5.00 euros. The museum was very well presented and so much to see. I was impressed as only 5.00 euros to get in. Well worth the money.

On the advice of another reviewer we visited this gem of a church on a quiet Sunday morning as we were staying nearby. What a find - entrance is free but donations are welcomed. On the morning of our visit guided tours were available (again free) led by members of a local club. We had a charming elderly man who pointed out various images from the frescoes we might not have noticed - the ‘signature’ dog of one of the painters, St Agathe with her breasts in a plate (weird!), the significance of the animals in the Noah’s Ark fresco and the niche where the nuns of this very closed order received communion without being seen. It was really a delightful moment.

Gorgeous Villa, outstanding gardens and interesting tour. A few important logistical notes:

    1. Buy your ticket online in advance. This will save valuable time by not standing in line. Try to book a minimum of a week or two ahead of time. If you want to see the inside of the villa, book way in advance. You might get lucky and get a tour at the window when you arrive (we did!).

    2. It is critical to wear comfortable shoes. The villa is a 20-25 minute walk from l where the ferry drops off in Lenno. Much of it is uphill. It is a nice stroll but wouldn’t be if not wearing the right shoes.

    3. There is a pier at the back of the villa where private tours can drop you. Wish I’d done this! You can also get a ride on a water taxi back BUT the line may be long. I think they take about 12 people every 20 minutes. I believe it cost 6 Euro one way per person and you pay on board. We ended up walking back (again, wear good shoes!) just to make sure we caught the departing ferry on time.

It is a gorgeous and special experience, especially if you are prepared with good shoes, water, and sun protection. And maybe a snack or two :)

Yes, the museum is primarily religious art, which can get boring quickly. But the museum has excellent notes, which makes at least many of the paintings one would walk by quickly more worth spending time with. And the building is excellent, and there's enough richness here that if you like art at least a little, it's worth the effort.

Our 4 year old had a blast here. Lots of fun rides and activities. The water activities are a l9t of fun and if the weather allows this would be the main thing. It is not the biggest, in 2 days you can cover all the activitoes, it is not the newest but there is a lot of fun here.also you have quite a few places to eat and drink. Prices are reasonable.

A breathtakingly beautiful villa set in a carefully manicured park with exciting historical objects spanning centuries. Features include half a frigate, a submarine, an amphitheatre built in the Roman style for open air performances, a cascade running down a ravine ending in a series of hammer ponds that can be reached via purposely built steps. This is an outdoor adventure in a natural setting with magnificent views of Garda Lake..
