Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great experience, what wonderful voices and piano player. A great night, we enjoyed it a lot! Highly recommend and at a great price. Also they offered a free glass of wine which was a nice touch. At first I thought it was a bit odd being in a church but after experiencing it, the acoustics in there was amazing! Great work and thank you x

Thoroughly enjoyed the performance- wonderful musicians and singers. Lighthearted moments too and the fact that the content was recognisable was brilliant. A nice drink at the bar before and it was a perfect night

We attended the performance at St. Paul within the Walls, which was a great venue for the acoustics. The performance was well done and very much enjoyed, especially the combination of the opera with the ballet.

As English speakers, we couldn’t comprehend the words as there were no subtitles but this did not detract from the pleasant experience. During intermission, I just pulled out my phone and quickly read a synopsis of the first act. A post of the fun for us is that we decided to interpret the story through all that happening, but through a modern lens. We both felt the main character was dealing with the ravages a COVID. Maybe it hit a like too close to home because we were not too far off base. It ended up being tuberculosis.

All in all, it was a very fun and entertaining evening. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would check out another opera if we return to Rome.

A great evening with beautifully music and singing. Only it was very cold in the church. Bring warm clothes.

Wonderful to sit and listen to very talented musicians. My only issue is people videoing the concert and blocking the view for people behind. There should be a no phones policy once the concert begins.

This was an absolutely amazing evening! The opera singers are out of this world, all intimately experienced whilst dining exquisite and plentiful Italian dishes. I can’t recommend this enough for a once in a life time experience in Rome! Thank you to the entire team for a wonderful evening :)

Exhausted after some hours of crowded Vatican Museum this was an excellent easy to understand but still high quality immersive exhibition about Rome and its development over the time. Both my teenage son and me learned a lot we did not yet know about Rome. The exhibition rooms were well climatized, not at all crowded and the entry fee is well reasonable. Clear recommendation!

Greatest classical opera songs preformed on a roof in Rome. A very romantic and pleasant atmosphere.
Two singers preforming classic opera songs and explains about them.
Beautiful 360 view on Rome rooftops and on one of the most beautiful squares Piazza Navona.

Ask for Sara! We had a wonderful time touring the beautiful Appian way countryside, where Sara was kind enough to stop periodically and point out rare birds and exciting scenery. Birds, vinyards, farms galore. Then it was on to the Roman quarry, Caecilia Metella, and ending with a very cool tour through the catacombs. Sara was a masterful, lively, and patient navigator!

Before exploring roman history like Forum or Colosseum or Vatican or anything, one must have a quick overview of things. Of course books and private guides are options, but one of the best options is this one.

Beautiful 3 D videos and layer-by-layer description of thousand years of Roman history is just fascinating. My daughters (12 and 10 years old) just loved it. We proceeded to various points like Temples of Portinus, Colosseum, Forum, St Peter, Castle St Angelo, and we didn’t need any guide at any of them. We had all chalked out already from these videos. Besides I am a history buff myself, but reading and seeing things are different.

Whether you know everything, or you know nothing, this experience suits everybody.

Absolutely phenomenal! Easy to get to, seating was well organized. The performance and setting are the stuff of fairytales or movies. I consider this a 100% Must-Do in Rome.

This was an extremely enjoyable opera recital. The main soprano was excellent but we felt some of the other performers were fighting against the very proficient orchestra. There were also two ballet dancers performing intermittently but we could not really see them from the back of the church. We only paid for the seats at the back of the church which were more comfortable than the pews we watched the three tenors from.

The church is very pretty inside. It was quite draughty so big coats are advisable in winter.

The Opera was a lovely sample of culture and the meal was a lovely surprise with 4 courses in a traditional restaurant that we weren't expecting great evening out to finish our tour of Roma!!

This was a fabulous evening, a stunning location, the orchestra were amazing particularly the lead violinist who was superb.
The only thing to note is there is no pasta offered at this event which was stated on the details. That is the only thing that let it down otherwise it would have received a five star rating.
