We loved this. The entry was quiet and there is loads to see. Informative signage. Can’t visit Rome without seeing this!

Very impressive and worth seeing: a large Piazza with two amazing fountains and some nice statues.
Maybe the best square in Rome.

The most impressive interior of a church that I have ever seen, located in a not well maintained area of Rome (Termini). Marble and gold everywhere you can look and the ceiling is very special.

Very crowded unless you go early in the day. Suggest early morning. At noon or thereafter it is very crowded.

Always since a child wanted to visit Nero’s Golden House. Seems to now to be open at more times. It’s huge of course. Quite difficult to walk around ref the shingly surface, which is not helped by people allowing their children to dredge the surface with their feet. Obviously will take a huge time to archaeologists to find out all about the huge huge palace. The guide was reasonable if a little vague and unfocused. The easiest place to enter is almost next to the Coliseum Metro, otherwise you end up on a unmarked hike up hills and down dales. Two or three mins from the metro. Up into a park which is not so well kept. The way from Monti is baffling. Includes just signs for Rome zoo for some reason.

Nice park with areas for entertainment and rest. We had the best time renting scooters to explore around it. Would go again.

The historic centre of Rome is simply incredible, with ancient history round every corner. Lots of the sites are within easy walking distance of each other.

A beautiful square in Central Rome with a lot of Monumente of every era of the city. From here you can reach every part of the city easily

One of the most characteristic square in Rome, rich of monuments and beautiful buildings. From this square it's easy to reach a beautiful part of the centre of Rome

    Amazing Cat Sanctuary in Rome.

We stumbled across Torre Argentina Cat Sanctuary while walking around Rome, we didn't go inside as it was too early (they open around 12) but you can watch the cats happily relaxing amongst the ruins from above.

We regret not going back as the sanctuary relies on donations to look after the cats, great if you are a cat lover... oh and the site is where Julius Caesar was murdered by members of the Roman Senate.

This was truly a memorable day. If you have time hire a bike from the cafe and cycle the whole length then stop off at the aqueducts. This place is simply beautiful. So much history in one place.

The campidoglio is one of the little hills where Rome was built in its origin. During the Renaissance the famous artist Michaelangelo projected the actual square that appears really beautiful and composed. There are a famous museum and the city hall and if you go behind it you will have a fantastic view of the foro romano

Worth a visit and the steps were not as steep as I thought. Beautiful surrounding and views. Can be quite crowded at times.

A good short tour around the bunkers, there are several of them. You experience an insight into what it would have been like to be in the tunnels with an air raid. There is also the house you can go through as a seperate tour as well as the Old Prince's Residence as well.. The guides are wonderful, The tour group is Underground Rome? They also have a book you can purchase for such experiences. They have several other unusual tours around Rome too.. If you enjoy history or anything to do with WW2 we highly recommend.. There are limited tours in English. Visit Roma Sotterranea is the group
