Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Filyra Vl1 contributionan amazing family business with products from all over Italy. Luca and Stefano are happy to answer any questions about the history of the products and help with your purchases. We highly recommend it :)Written 25 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Benjamin L45 contributionsFlavio spent the time and effort my wife and I needed in order to walk away with the full experience we were hoping to find. Alfieri was the final leather store we went to and its the first one we'll come back to next time we travel to Italy. The leather is higher quality than any other stores we visit, the jackets fit more naturally as if not created on some production line and the one-on-one custom customer experience was uniquely special. 5/5Written 12 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - PaulScapBoston, MA1 contributionWe stayed across the street from DelGiudice when we visited Rome in 2019. After several days we wandered and met the owner's daughter who was manning the store. We loved hearing about the family business and were amazed at the quality of leather goods. I bought a wallet and my wife bought a purse. We recently celebrated our 21st Anniversary and I immediately knew I had to get something from DelGiudice. Ordering was easy and delivery came within two days. My wife loved the gift and we love DelGiudiceWritten 12 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- DanGB1London, UK43 contributionsWas looking for some ice cream near the Altar of the Fatherland. Saw this had good reviews.
Pokey little place, friendly person running it, and most importantly, amazing Gelato!
A few stools outside to sit on with a half decent view.Written 13 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Equally interesting is the education I got about the history of the coins and how to interpret how the design of the coins changed over time and emperors. I highly recommend a visit thereWritten 19 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Greta19922 contributionsI'm in love with this place! I love old fashioned shops and this shop is like a time voyage, but on the good way! There is one young guy who works on there, he's so friendly and helpful! We both 3 different cheese and 3 different salamis he gives to us a little taste each of them! Once we both everything what we wanted we had a short walk to the river and we eated all the cheese and salamis in there 🤣Written 1 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ReviewingyoufairlyLondon, UK77 contributionsI was told this was the best coffee in town. Certainly the most expensive at €4.30 for a cappuccino. But it was very good and very busy. I think I’ve had better coffee elsewhere though so won’t be backWritten 2 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - beachlovernc2015Leland, NC1,661 contributionsSuch a fun place to shop. It is not big but if you have Pinocchio lovers or those that appreciate great wood working to get gifts for, this is a wonderful choice. There are other locations in Italy but we chose the one in Rome as it was near the Piazza Navona where we were sightseeing. It is a small shop and you can do on line shopping but it was really enjoyable to go in and look at the wonderful things they they produce.Written 27 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
