    Mostly Good Tour
    Tour had goods and bads. We did enjoy the small group feel for most of the day. Our guide from Rome really was not a "guide". He just made sure we got where we were supposed to be. He was super friendly and knowledgable about things on the way to and from Pisa and Florence. He literally dropped us off with tickets at the Leaning Tower saying "Meet me back here in 25 minutes." We were very rushed trying to use the tickets he gave us for the cemetary and church then rushed to take our photos of the Tower. Everyone in the group felt a little lost. He was very nice and did not rush us while buying souvenirs before leaving. Then we went to Florence and he took us to a nice place for lunch. We thought it was strange that he did not have lunch with us. He had many friends at the restaurant that he spent the time visiting with. After lunch another "guide" came and we met up with another tour group for a walking tour of Florence. It was wonderful. Although he did walk really fast and did not try to make sure every one in the group was keeping up, he was super knowledgable and friendly. He did not rush us but we felt rushed because he walked so fast, leaving everyone behind in a very crowded city. The tour was great. The statue of David is a MUST SEE! The walking tour was beautiful and picturesque. Overall the tour was good. Our driver from Rome was a really good driver and friendly as well.

    Highly recommend this tour! Claudio will show you a memorable time outside of Rome!
    Claudio was wonderful!!
    He was very knowledgeable about the historical site we visited, beautiful scenery. The wine tasting was amazing, authentic wine caves and a lovely hostess/owner with a delicious selection of wines. White, red and a lovely dessert wine to end with. The restaurant Claudio chose for lunch was like a home cooked meal. Cozy fire, and a friendly staff, and delicious food made lunch very memorable.

    Very Enjoyable Adventure from Start to Finish
    We had a wonderful day in Pompeii and Positano with our guide JJ and driver Max. We were picked up at our hotel right on time in a very comfortable van (5 guests total plus Max and JJ) and whisked to Pompeii with JJ pointing out sights along the way. We got to Pompeii early enough to beat the crowds and had a very knowledgeable local guide for our private tour who arranged for us to go to spots not open to the general public. Then it was on to Positano for photos, lunch, and shopping--we opted for a restaurant on the beach recommended by JJ and it was lovely and delicious. We also had the option to do a quick limoncello tasting. We dozed a little on the drive back to Rome and Max had us back at our hotel in time for a dinner. Pompeii and Positano are definitely worth the drive and this tour was a very enjoyable adventure with a great guide and driver.

    Terrific Day in Tivoli with Salvatore!
    Our trip to Tivoli with Salvatore on Sep 20 was a high spot for my family! Salvatore was so knowledgeable about the town and kept us informed with history along the way. Tivoli is lovely, worth another visit and a stay, we all thought. They reserved a fabulous lunch spot for us at Sibilla's, overlooking the gorge. They also arranged an excellent local guide, Maria Therese, for our tour of Villa Adriana. She was so informative, and provided facts with lots of context. She helped the history come alive for us. We had visited Pompeii the day before, and we honestly found Villa d'Adrianna to be as interesting. Much less crowded too. Villa d'Este was almost overwhelming in the richness of the art and sculpture. A fantastic day trip with a fantastic driver! We have used Best Rome Drivers in past trips and they are always first rate. We have confidence in them, and their drivers make everything as easy and smooth as you could hope for. Highly recommend them for this and all of their other day trips (we have done most of them). Highly recommend Salvatore! He took good care of us!

    Hight quality private tour in Rome
    High quality service, which met and even exceeded all our expectations. In addition to the programs offered by the tour provider, we were also pleasantly surprised, thanks to unplanned sights during our private tour in Rome

    He made our trip to Rome!!
    Rafaelle made our trip to Rome!! From the time we landed and he met us at the airport until he dropped us at the cruise ship two days later he drove us to interesting sights and provided us with much interesting historical information. We never would have been able to cover so much in two days time without him. It was a great experience and we highly recommend him

    Private tour of Rome
    We had a wonderful day with our tour guide Alex Paolini. Very informative and knowledgeable. I would certainly use him as a tour guide again.

    Amazing Day!! 🤩
    I visited Pompeii and Positano with my boyfriend. An unforgettable tour, everything went perfectly. Pompeii, an incredible archaeological park with a highly trained local guide. Positano was a moment where I was able to admire the beauty of a southern city that was certainly the most fascinating of all. Our driver was always with us, a nice person and always available. We will book with this company again. Thank you.

    Who said you can't do Rome in a day?
    Wow! This tour was absolutely brilliant. The driver spoke English perfectly, drove us up to Rome from Sorrento in 3 hours (stopping once for a restroom/snack break), and perfectly timed the day for us to hit all the major attractions AND have time for food/drinks. The tour is very flexible as well! We needed to leave Vatican City early due to an event that was happening, and the driver was ready & waiting to take us to the next stop (no need to kill time if you're on a tight schedule). We were sad when the tour ended, but would highly recommend anyone looking to quickly visit Rome from the Amalfi coast. We would 100% do this again.

    Rome pre cruise adventure.
    We had a great time! Took plenty of pictures. Ate a delicious lunch in the courtyard. It was amazing!

    Fantastic trip to Pompeii
    Outstanding tour with a great driver...we enjoyed the day! And the tour of Caserta was a bonus. We would definitely book this again.

    A truly amazing and insightful Day in Pisa and Florence
    Max and Cessa were amazing, nothing was too much trouble, they provided an excellent trip, from an early start with collection at hotel, to the tour of Pisa and then Florence until being dropped back at the hotel, they treated you as friends/guests rather than customers. They provided insights to local tradition and the Italian lifestyle. Definitely recommended.

    Pure adventure
    My husband and I just returned from a two week trip throughout Italy and a few other places but I must say this off the beaten path excursion was by far was our most memorable unexpected experience. You start off in the middle of nowhere but you end up in an untamed civilization from the past. No crowds basically no people just pure adventure. If you want something unique and special you can’t go wrong.

    Disappointing Experience
    The tour operator never showed up and when we tried contacting them, they never responded. Contacted Trip Advisor and the operator didn’t respond to them either. Ruined our one day in Rome. Definitely do not recommend Eternal City Tours!!

    Midnight Mass
    Highly highly Recommend! Transportation, sightseeing, fantastic Italiano dinner, and exception assistance entering St Peter Basilica and seats at Mass with Pope Francis. A must do on Christmas Eve...once in a lifetime!
