Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- OasisBound TCalifornia82 contributionsThis is by far our most favorite museum in Naples and Italy. No photos were allowed inside. You have to see the sculptures in person to really admire them. We made reservations online 2 days ahead of time and waited in line for 15 mins before being let through. We would go back here anytime.Written 21 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- HeatheryBroken Arrow, OK61 contributionsIt's HUGE. I had no idea there is so much to see. Our tour was there nearly 4 hours, and we only saw a fraction of it. It's a must-see, and more than once!Written 15 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Karen2 contributionsWe chose the Memory Lane your and enjoyed it very much. I don’t think one should skip it when in Naples. Our guide, Martina, was friendly and did a great job in explaining to us about the history of the tunnels that even my youngest daughter aged 4 was captivated by it! Not only that I learnt from the tour, but I like it that it left an impression on my children. We still talk about Galleria Bourbonica until today 😊Written 17 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - G. AlvesBrussels, Belgium29 contributionsGreat piece of history of Naples well preserved. on of my favourite part is still the visit of the Roman Theatre. Tarik was a nice guide and he took the time needed to explain every single detailsWritten 15 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The views on the left hand fork are spectacular with the ocean spread out below. It was the preferred path of a local we met.
We caught the 8:05 bus from Amalfi. It's a short walk through Bomerano to get to the start of the hike. Apparently, Apple Maps is better for finding the start. The trail is a mix of dirt, rock/roots and cut stone as you near Nocelle. They are doing a lot of work to put in wooden rails along the path edge.
If you take the stairs down to Positano, beware that it's a lot and adds an hour or so. T
Still, there was enough time to go to an overpriced café at the beach, relax a bit and then catch the 13:30 ferry back to Amalfi.Written 21 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Melly Mel32 contributionsTook the chairlift to the top of Monte Solaro. Beautiful vantage point. There is a cute boutique with beach wear, cologne, & perfume. There is a bar & grill restaurant & restrooms at the top. It was a little pricy, but not outrageous. I had the most delicious Aperol spritz with some great sandwiches. Our waiter was friendly & gave us some limoncello at the end of our meal on the house. It is an island & this is the only food/shopping at the top of the mountain. So yes, it will be a little pricier than mainland Italy. Having a drink at the top of the mountain with the views is worth it.Written 10 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TopcatChrisMelbourne, Australia313 contributionsStunning views of the Amalfi coast from this brilliant vantage point. The gardens and Roman busts add to the magnificence of this property. This is the highlight of Ravello.Written 28 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Pop F5 contributionsWhen visiting Naples, I highly recommend seeing a performance here rather than simply visiting. How incredible to attend a show in the world's oldest opera house. - VanessaLytham St Anne's, UK4,515 contributionsOur last night staying in Naples, we had an apartment which was overlooking the street. Amazing! We love Naples and we were happy to be back after touring the Amalfi coast.
We threw the bags in the room and immediately started to explore the street and the tiny cobbled alleyways on it.
The people, the smells, the food, cafes, restaurants, shop and music all around.
It's so interesting and has a real vibe to it.
A few people has tried to deter us from staying in Naples, but we felt safe, there was no bother from anyone, it was just locals and tourists enjoying the street and all it has to offer. Definitely recommended!Written 19 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
