Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Zoe WMangilao, Mariana Islands3 contributionsThe park is vast, beautifully landscaped, and packed with a variety of attractions. While it’s mostly very peaceful, it can get crowded, especially on weekends or during peak tourist seasons. The hustle and bustle can sometimes detract from the tranquil experience, but it’s still a lovely place to visit.Written 30 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - emrystravelAmiens, France201 contributionsCome on, this is the Prado. It's one of the world's finest museums. We flew to Madrid specifically to go to the Prado and for no other reason. It didn't disappoint. Wonderful building, wonderful art. Easy to navigate with good free paper map and signs everywhere.
Go to see Goya's Black Paintings. The Drowning Dog is superbly hung and will stop you in your tracks. And of course the Garden of Earthly Delights. Art that I really needed to see at least once in my life. And then the other thousands of works.
Marked down one star because of their weird wifi. it seems to give access only to their own pages, not the web, which is very annoying when you're trying to look up an artist or a theme.Written 8 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We booked in advance and were so glad we did. Those who hadn’t faced a long wait, and this was January! We did the audio tour and would also recommend that option.Written 6 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Barbara BCounty Antrim, UK12 contributionsWe enjoyed window shopping, indulging in delicious tapas, and soaking up the lively street performances. As night fell, the lights transformed the street into a dazzling spectacle.Written 18 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - emrystravelAmiens, France201 contributionsFloor 0, Carmen's collection, is mostly impressionists and is brilliantly documented. Every item has a QR code to learn more than you might need to know, and hi-res image to download. Floor 2, old masters, is ok but there are only so many pictures of Venice canals that I can take, I personally would miss that unless I was very keen. Floor 1, modernist art, is the most eclectic and wonderful. I saw two pieces by Georgia O'Keefe that took my breath away. Could have stayed for hours but floor 2 had worn my feet out.
Loses a star for having such limited dining available, only one small cafe for a great giant of a museum.
Absolutely worth the visit and much more fun than the Reina Sofia Museum.Written 8 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - ZAYGON105 contributions
