What travellers are saying
- Todd SNapa, CA70 contributionsThis was my second visit to the aqueduct & I was looking forward to sharing it with my group of extended family. I set up a guided tour 2 months ahead of time with the official guide service, only to have them be a no-show on the day/time agreed for the tour. I called the tour operator who said I was supposed to remind him via email. Anyway, we still walked the aqueduct & it’s worth a trip, even without a guided tour.Written 26 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- sarahcK781SRWeston super Mare, UK425 contributionsLocated right on sea front. Spectacular back drop. Good for an explore. Nice gardens above and a lift down from street level.Written 1 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Mary A6 contributionsExtremely beautiful, I went at sunset with friends and it was 100% worth it. Free, easy to access and has great sights.Written 23 January 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- ludorIasi, Romania2,749 contributionsBeautiful area, with narrow cobbled streets, very nice old buildings and ruins. Definitely a must visit in Tarragona.Written 13 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- HippoSlippersBarcelona, Spain90 contributionsThis site is a little smaller but it's still really cool to imagine the chariots racing. It's right above the amphitheater so don't miss it if you are already there. You can walk around and see most of it without doing the tour.Written 27 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Kevin HZurich, Switzerland1,128 contributionsWe very much enjoyed our stroll down and then back up the Ramblas Nova, a wide avenue lined with shops and cafes. Our preferred route was to stay on the centre island in the middle of the avenue.Written 26 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- HippoSlippersBarcelona, Spain90 contributionsWorth doing for sure. The info panels are informative and the views of the mountains are great (although hard to get a good picture of... Just enjoy). If you come in by train and are doing all the must-do things, do this before going to the cathedral. You go uphill and at the end you just have to keep to the right to get to the Cathedral. If you do the Cathedral first, you will end up walking up hill twice (speaking from experience...).Written 27 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Ellie ChapmanWarwick, UK68 contributionsThe restaurant is in a beautiful location directly underneath the cathedral but it wasn’t too crowded either! We ordered a range of tapas which was delicious and the puddings were to die for . Perfect for tourists as the menu showcases the best of Spanish food but they have menus in Spanish, Catalan, English, Russian, German and French, and they serve throughout the day - good for tourists not used to the late nights normal in 🇪🇸 . The staff were delightful and very accommodating. Would definitely recommend!Written 7 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Katharina M4 contributionsWe came to Tarragona in January outside the season. Though we were only 3 people our guide Xavi spontaneously decided to give us a full city tour in English. The Tour took about 2,5h and Xavi gave us very diverse an interesting insights. Through the entire tour you could notice how passionate he is about Tarragona and it’s history. We learned a lot and truly enjoyed this tour! We definitely recommend it to anyone!Written 4 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
