What travellers are saying
- Todd SNapa, CA70 contributionsThis was my second visit to the aqueduct & I was looking forward to sharing it with my group of extended family. I set up a guided tour 2 months ahead of time with the official guide service, only to have them be a no-show on the day/time agreed for the tour. I called the tour operator who said I was supposed to remind him via email. Anyway, we still walked the aqueduct & it’s worth a trip, even without a guided tour.Written 26 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- sarahcK781SRWeston super Mare, UK425 contributionsLocated right on sea front. Spectacular back drop. Good for an explore. Nice gardens above and a lift down from street level.Written 1 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- ludorIasi, Romania2,749 contributionsThe cathedral is impressive from the very first look as is seating on the highest point of the hill at the end of some spectacular staircases, in the heart of the old town. However, the interior is even more imposing and there are plenty of interesting things to see. It definitely worth the entrance fee and your time.Written 13 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- sarahcK781SRWeston super Mare, UK425 contributionsHuge monument to celebrate a local festival. Great art work, figures are life size too. On the Ramblas.Written 1 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Mary A6 contributionsExtremely beautiful, I went at sunset with friends and it was 100% worth it. Free, easy to access and has great sights.Written 23 January 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- ludorIasi, Romania2,749 contributionsBeautiful area, with narrow cobbled streets, very nice old buildings and ruins. Definitely a must visit in Tarragona.Written 13 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- HippoSlippersBarcelona, Spain90 contributionsThis site is a little smaller but it's still really cool to imagine the chariots racing. It's right above the amphitheater so don't miss it if you are already there. You can walk around and see most of it without doing the tour.Written 27 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- ludorIasi, Romania2,749 contributionsThe building is very nice and there are many stalls for fresh food (fish, meat, vegetables, etc.). There are also several places selling amazing cooked food, to take home or to eat on the tables around. And, if these are not enough, there is also a big Mercadona supermarket.Written 13 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Kevin HZurich, Switzerland1,128 contributionsWe very much enjoyed our stroll down and then back up the Ramblas Nova, a wide avenue lined with shops and cafes. Our preferred route was to stay on the centre island in the middle of the avenue.Written 26 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- HippoSlippersBarcelona, Spain90 contributionsWorth doing for sure. The info panels are informative and the views of the mountains are great (although hard to get a good picture of... Just enjoy). If you come in by train and are doing all the must-do things, do this before going to the cathedral. You go uphill and at the end you just have to keep to the right to get to the Cathedral. If you do the Cathedral first, you will end up walking up hill twice (speaking from experience...).Written 27 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- StephenCrossDublin, Ireland17,109 contributionsEl Serrallo is a nice fishing area in Tarragon and it’s to the right of the port. Nice feel to it and worth a visit and walk around.Written 1 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- ludorIasi, Romania2,749 contributionsEven in November, seems a great place for taking sun and bathing (if you dare). Anyway, walking along the sea and watching the surfers is very enjoyable.Written 13 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- backpacker31Boynton Beach, FL5,380 contributionsLocated within Casco Antiguo is this lovely street with an entire building covered in a mural. It makes for some great photo opportunities. There are some interesting Roman ruins nearby as well.Written 23 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Kevin HZurich, Switzerland1,128 contributionsVery good beach located on the north eastern edge of Tarragona. Well worth visiting if you are looking for a less popular beach.Written 25 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- rtl2Machynlleth, UK529 contributionsThis beach is a pleasant enough beach in Tarragona. Short walk from the rail station/town centre. Partly overlooked by amphitheater.
The beach itself was clean and cared for. It was low season and all the facilities plus the catering outlet were closed. There were showers available to rinse the salt water/sand off after a swim.
Depending which part of the beach you are on the background cityscape isn't the best, but it's nice enough. Didn't notice all the graffiti mentioned by previous reviewers.Written 11 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
