You can't image this until you see it in person. No picture does it justice. Rent the audio tour and then take your time and enjoy. Expect crowds!

Stroll through the well preserved narrow streets and corridors and immerse yourself in a medivial atmosphere.
You could discover old history, from Roman times to modern era.

Do you love Guadi? If yes then you must visit this gem on Passeig de Gracia. Centrally located and mainly open every day, except holidays. Buy your ticket online before going.

A very unique and beautiful music venue. If you like Modernism/Art Nuevo style, it's worth a visit. I believe you can enter and view the main hall without a tour too - but the explanation was worth it for us. Glad we made a trip.

We visited 3 of the Gaudi designed homes, and this one is so interesting in comparison. You can see the progression in his work (maybe in his confidence) to do outlandish design that works. My only complaint at this site is that the audio guides are not very helpful, a guided tour may be better.

Eye candy for food lovers. Great presentation of all kinds of food. If you eat there stay with the fresh produce and the meats. The empanadas are awful, filled with potatoes and a smear of whatever you are paying for. The fruits and juices are wonderful Its a fun place to spend a couple of hours and shouldn't be missed

Of all the cathedrals we visited in Barcelona, this was an actual 'church.' While historic and built of grey stone, it actually had a welcoming air and without the metal grates and ropes to keep visitors and parishioners at bay, actual felt like a place of worship for people and not just a display piece. The history is fascinating and definitely makes this worth a visit and quiet reflection.

Built between 1902 and 1930 by a contemporary of Gaudi, architect Louis Domenech I Montaner, created an amazing open space, with gorgeous free standing buildings that were set in a magnificent garden setting. The purpose? This amazing UNESCO World Heritage site was a hospital for the poor.

With some of the most beautiful architecture we've ever seen, we can only imagine the therapeutic benefits of sitting in the magnificent garden complex, and drinking in the fragrance of lavender and orange.

If you love history and stunning architecture, this site is not to be missed.

    What a treasure!

    *HIGHLY* recommended.

Fridays and Saturdays are the best, be there before 20:00 and enjoy a fantastic show on the Catalan museum grounds near plaça Espania

This is a nice place to walk about for a while before you enjoy the magic fountain. It is also nearby the Arenas of Barcelona Mall.

A nice walk to admire the Barcelonian architecture not only by Gaudi and Miró, but other styles as well. The best neighborhood to see much of it and have a good café..

Beautiful building right in the middle of La Rambla.

The ticket costs €12. If you are in La Rambla area, it’s worth a visit.
