Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

You LITERALLY cannot put this place into words....nor will your pictures do it ANY justice !!!!!! It is absolutely incredible. Without a doubt an absolute MUST SEE for any trip to Barcelona. The incredible detail that Gaudi put in is truly astonishing. Especially when you consider the era that it was built and the fact that it is still under construction.

There are some nice gift shops (all selling the same things) and restaurants around the immediate area.

There is a pretty heavy security and screening process as you go in....so just be aware. However, they were pretty quick and efficient, though I image it could be a little different during high tourist season

You cannot go to Barcelona and not go into this place !!!!

I chose to purchase our tickets directly online from their website (it's a little cheaper that way). We went around 4pm on our first day in Barcelona. It's actually less than a 15 minute walk from Casa Mila (La Pedrera) along Passeig de Gracia. It's also located close the Gracia train / metro station.

Another great experience. Totally worth the money. Besides this house we also visited Casa Mila / Casa Guell / Casa Viciens.

Would recommend as part of your Barcelona experience

We loved this area. The narrow streets and very cool buildings made for a nice afternoon.

We found some nice shops especially a great Christmas store Kaethe Wohlfahrt. So nice to see
beautiful ornaments and other decorations made in Germany not China.
This is a very interesting part of Barcelona.

Park Güell is very nice as such, a fresh breeze and opportunity to enjoy art in nature. In May theres a lot of blooming in the perk. To consider, buy tickets in advance to be sure of having access. Consider also limited # of restrooms, some closed - queus...

One of the main attractions in Barcelona, also the biggest covered market hall of its kind in Spain.
The origins of the Boqueria Market date back to the 12th century, the current roof structure was built in the beginning of the 20th century.
Admission is free, beware of pickpockets.

My wife and I visited here on our first day into Barcelona. I had purchased tickets directly through their website (a little cheaper than some other options). We got the daytime and nighttime experience tickets. We visited during the early afternoon and then later for the evening (1pm & 9pm).

The place is truly amazing. Gaudi's inspiration of nature & God were very clearly shown. The night time experience was great because you'd be amazed at the things you get to see differently than during your day visit. Murals I hadn't noticed before seemed to just pop out. Colors seemed completely different. There's a show on top of the roof that I won't spoil because it has to be seen & experienced.

I'm not sure what some reviewers were thinking, but YES....it is worth your time and money

I'm very dissapointed that the fountain wasn't working, but it's understandable with the drought that catalunya is suffering. I'm just writing this review for people like me who didn't know beforehand to be informed that it's still bot working in may. Although the surroundings are still beautiful.

My wife and I visited here during our walk through the Gothic Quarter. I believe it was $5 euro each to get in. Not an overly big place, but worth stopping in to and checking it out. Such incredible detail and history

The most impressive promenade of Eixample, connecting the Plaza Catalunya and the Gracia neighbourhood.
The promenade dates back to the 19th century and is still the street with the highest real estate prices in Spain.
Also known for the awesome archiecture by Gaudi, such as the Casa Batllo and the Casa Mila.

For some reason this palace doesn’t readily come up in searches of Guadí houses. It’s right near La Boqueria and La Rambla, and it was really beautiful. Easy audio guide on the phone. Make sure to see the awesome, colorful chimneys on the roof!

Interesting collections. Beautifully located on a hill overlooking the city. This museum needs easily a half day to enjoy.

My wife and I walked through this Parc during a day out in Barcelona. It's located just East ??? of the Arc de Triompf and that park area. There is an amazing fountain for some good photos. The zoo is located at the far end. The have some nice gardens and flowers in the area. Ultimately just a nice place to sit, relax and maybe do some people watching. There are a couple food stands for drinks & snacks.

It's worth a pass through because you're not too far from the Gothic Quarter that is probably a 15 minute walk away.

Well maintained cathedral and quite impressive.

Built in the thirteenth to fifteenth century.

S few vendor stalls in the area selling souvenirs as well.

    Definitely worth a stop.

BEST Gaudi house to see, amazing design and guided tour. Kudos to the site for having ample languages for the audio guide, we listened to the Hebrew one which was very well done!!!
