It has to be done for first time goers to Barcelona - and it is breathtaking as a spectacle - it certainly gets the WOW factor. However, there was no way I was going to queue up for hours to get in so can't comment on the interior. This place attracts crowds of people so be prepared.

The tour guide was wonderful and so informative and loved her enthusiasm!! We got to hear the organ play twice and was such a lovely surprise and extra benefit!! This place is a must and see a concert if you have time. A must see in Barcelona!

Worth a visit, massive stadium and very popular. Went on hop on bus here as quite a way out from old town. Big shop, cafes.

Lovely edifice but too crowded that it looses its charm. We wanted to assist to a ceremony but it was just impossible. Next time I would come back during winter time.

This was our second option after we turned up to the Picasso Museum to find they weren’t letting anyone else in until later as it was full (although people were coming out- boo!)

Anyway I digress. This museum is set in a beautiful building at Plaza Catalunya and by the magic fountains (on Thu-Sat). The building alone is beautiful along with the views and of course, the art is diverse, fantastic and curated wonderfully.

We actually visited in the evening about 6pm so it was really quiet (I can’t speak about the day). We only had an hour and a half so had to fly round but would definitely recommend to the art and architecture lovers (or even just to see the views!)

Once in a lifetime experience! Gaudi was an amazing artist who saw the world and was able to design in a way for us, mere mortals, to be transported to another place. La Familia Sagrada is an incredible place to visit. Definitely a place you do not want to be rushed. You will want to watch the light stream through the windows, the sculptures depicting the scenes from the Bible. An incredible church that is hard to put into words. Buy your tickets early and go with a guide otherwise you will be stuck in a very long line!

We were really surprised by this large museum. It doesn’t look big from the outside but the museum is underground! Filled with hands on experiences and a beautiful set up. We only had an hour, which was too short. My teens loved the rain forest, dust storm simulation, etc. Wished we would have had more time here. The descriptions were in Spanish, English, Catalan. They have a cafe to chill and get a snack and water experiments outside. There is a bus that stops right in front. Definitely add this one on to your list.

It is a beautiful palace and if you visit other masterpieces of Gaudí in Barcelona, you will see that is an architectural lab for other famous buildings of the architect.
What is most amazing of the building are the doors details, the stained glasses, the chapel, and the ceilings. The roof is also very interesting, how Gaudí experiments with 'trencadís' and the chimneys which you can see similar shapes to 'Sagrada Família' towers or 'la pedrera'.
A very recommended visit to see other creations of the architect.

A comprehensive and large collection of Miro’s works. This is a must-see if you like Miro. Can easily spend at least 2-3 hours if you’re to look at each piece of art in detail in a relaxing pace. There is a nice coffee shop, and two stores - one sells books and the other one which we only realized on our way out, sells souvenirs. There are lockers to put your bags at no charge - very convenient. Great experience overall. I would give this a 5 star if we were hardcore Miro fans.

The historical building and Picasso is nice, but there are better places to see Picasso art than this museum.

This was so much fun! I like seeing old ruins of cities so this was perfect for me. However, I will say that better signage telling people where to buy tickets would be a good addition. When my friend and I first arrived, we couldn’t figure out where the museum was or where to buy tickets. Other than that, it was a great experience!
