Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Too bad we walked through on our own. It would have been great to have a guide explain all we saw because there were lots of great buildings and monuments along the way.

Out of all the market we visited in Barcelona, this one stands out.

Our kids wanted us to go every day to try different flavours of smoothies/fruit juice. We enjoyed variety of fruits and loved the atmosphere.

We also loved Falafal Vegano, made fresh and full of flavours.

To Avoid - Organic Barcelona just next to Falafel Vegano, the display of food looks amazing but what you get is stale food.

I'm very dissapointed that the fountain wasn't working, but it's understandable with the drought that catalunya is suffering. I'm just writing this review for people like me who didn't know beforehand to be informed that it's still bot working in may. Although the surroundings are still beautiful.

I really enjoyed our quiet visit to this church. Soaring ceilings and simple beauty. When in the area it is worth the euros to take a look around. I also had a quiet, contemplative prayer in this beautiful basilica

Beautiful centrally located hotel in the heart of Barcelona.
Staff were absolutely amazing and special thanks to Delia & Ian who went above and beyond. It was much appreciated.
Breakfast was fabulous each day. Freshly cooked eggs to suit and a delicious array of other foods.
The rooms were beautifully appointed (note: the rooms are not big but they are lovely).
Bar and pool also very good. The whole hotel was just perfect and we really enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend this hotel.

My wife and I walked through this Parc during a day out in Barcelona. It's located just East ??? of the Arc de Triompf and that park area. There is an amazing fountain for some good photos. The zoo is located at the far end. The have some nice gardens and flowers in the area. Ultimately just a nice place to sit, relax and maybe do some people watching. There are a couple food stands for drinks & snacks.

It's worth a pass through because you're not too far from the Gothic Quarter that is probably a 15 minute walk away.

This stunning Gothic Cathedral in the heart of Barri Gotic was completed in 1448. It was built on the site of a former Roman Temple.

The church is dedicated to Saint Eulalia, who was tortured to death during the reign of the Roman Empire. Her tomb lies beneath the main altar.

The outstanding facade was constructed much later between 1887 and 1890. It is partly under renovation at the moment.

It is the best viewpoint in the city. A hill of 177 meters high where we find gardens, museums, an Olympic stadium and many more.

La Rambla is a tree-lined pedestrian boulevard that runs for 1.2 kilometers. The street is filled with kiosks, flower stalls, artists, living statues, terraces, restaurants, and shops.

It is a major tourist hotspot and is usually very crowded. Suitable place for pickpockets.

A lovely neighbourhood in Barcelona. I felt a youthful energy and casual vibe. I would recommend to go there in the after noon to explore and shop then find a local bar restaurant to dine and have a drink.

Great square with lots of shops and places for coffee and snacks.

My favorite in the area is 4 Cats which was Pablo Picasso’s favorite spot.

Nice place. He signed a menu on display.

This major square is connecting the Sants neighborhood, Gran Via and Parallel streets, and Parc de Montjuic.

The square was designed by the Modernista architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch and completed for the 1929 International Exposition.

The square is surrounded by iconic buildings like the two Venetian towers, the old Arenas bullring, and the Fira de Barcelona, which hosts major trade fairs and exhibitions.

In the middle of the square is a monumental fountain called the Font dels Tres Mars which symbolizes the three seas surrounding the Iberian peninsula.

One of the most charming and vibrant spaces in the city, it was great to relax for a time amongst the lovely surrounds.

A centrepiece is the attractive fountain with figures of Three Graces under the canopy. All around are elegant buildings atop grand porticoes.

A further attraction is the decorative street lamps designed by a young Antoni Gaudi.

Not sure you can review a square as if you are visiting Barcelona you are going to pass through it one way or the other. It connects so many places in this part of the city. None of the fountains had any water so people were walking through them. Instead of eating at one of the street level restaurants, suggest going to the 9th floor of the El Cortes Ingles Department store. Good food choice and terrific view.

We went to Tibidabo because of the view. The view is great. Church is amazing, very colorful inside. From the outside, it looks huge, but inside is not that big. The best view on the church is from the park (ride that is called Talaia).
