This is a beautifully presented collection of sculpture and other artifacts from indigenous cultures. The building is old and beautiful, please be sure to look up and admire the ceilings. The permanent collection has 31 rooms, representing most native peoples of the world, or at least those that produced art. There also will be a temporary exhibition, at the moment it focuses on aboriginal art from Australia. As so many others have noted this museum is far better than the neighboring Picasso Museum, and is much less crowded. There are detailed explanations about the cultures presented in English, Spanish, and Catalan. Admission is free if you have the Barcelona card. Highly recommended.
