But it’s beautiful! A quiet spot with some lovely features including the boating lake with all of the birds and ducks around. We didn't grab an audio guide as you can do this on your phones however found it much better reading all the information on the signs and walls as we walked round. The Blue exhibit was on during our visit which might have been a factor as halfway around the museum the directions and timeline of the artwork was interrupted and made it slightly confusing as well as getting slightly lost! As someone else mentioned, people kept walking through the door just to the left of the stage which is a bit distracting.
The dancers, guitarist and singers are all extremely talented and they really did put on an excellent show. Very intense, emotional, passionate and truly captivating.

This lovely young man at Debon meats let us test the cheese and meat we bought. He was so very helpful. We also had take out that was equally delicious! We took a peek at the Arc before meandering around the surrounding area. - Ms_R33480Palm Beach, FL634 contributionsVery nice small museum with very good quality modern art, really interesting and enjoyable. We only had time to visit two of the three floors but really enjoyed it, one can probably see the entire museum in less than two hours.
We were there for the opera recital, which was also very nice, one hour of singing by a young opera singer and with that ticket we were allowed to also visit the museum, which made for a great afternoon. Also, if you are visiting the museum you may be able to attend the recital with your museum ticket.

The narrow streets, lanes and buildings are all there. History panels clarify the great division between Catalunya and the rest of Spain. there are guided tours and even a children's exploratory dig site. - Melaniej3008Cleckheaton, UK455 contributionsWe decided to visit the zoo after a poor weather forecast. It’s not overly dear and worked out around £37 for two people. It’s had some bad reviews but I genuinely feel they are trying and there is lots of redevelopment underway. Some of the animals are old and have been rescued from other zoos and circuses. Yes some were in their enclosures and you couldn’t see them but it’s not really the fault of the zoo. It’s not very big but a lovely way to spend a few hours. If I see an elephant and a giraffe then I’m happy! - johnmodestoModesto, CA617 contributionsThis is a beautifully presented collection of sculpture and other artifacts from indigenous cultures. The building is old and beautiful, please be sure to look up and admire the ceilings. The permanent collection has 31 rooms, representing most native peoples of the world, or at least those that produced art. There also will be a temporary exhibition, at the moment it focuses on aboriginal art from Australia. As so many others have noted this museum is far better than the neighboring Picasso Museum, and is much less crowded. There are detailed explanations about the cultures presented in English, Spanish, and Catalan. Admission is free if you have the Barcelona card. The actual chocolate you buy there was good.
