There are lots of small bars and restaurants, so be sure to check out Trip Advisor before settling on one. - Wendy P6 contributionsOnce in a lifetime experience! Gaudi was an amazing artist who saw the world and was able to design in a way for us, mere mortals, to be transported to another place. La Familia Sagrada is an incredible place to visit. Definitely a place you do not want to be rushed. You will want to watch the light stream through the windows, the sculptures depicting the scenes from the Bible. An incredible church that is hard to put into words. - EnBuMeBarcelona, Spain7 contributionsIt is a beautiful palace and if you visit other masterpieces of Gaudà in Barcelona, you will see that is an architectural lab for other famous buildings of the architect.
What is most amazing of the building are the doors details, the stained glasses, the chapel, and the ceilings. The roof is also very interesting, how Gaudà experiments with 'trencadÃs' and the chimneys which you can see similar shapes to 'Sagrada FamÃlia' towers or 'la pedrera'.

I stumbled across it on Pinterest and some friends who had just got back from Barcelona said they didn’t even know it was there.
But it’s beautiful! A quiet spot with some lovely features including the boating lake with all of the birds and ducks around. However, I will say that better signage telling people where to buy tickets would be a good addition. When my friend and I first arrived, we couldn’t figure out where the museum was or where to buy tickets. This is a must see - especially after you get bombarded with souvenir booths and sketchy eateries on the Rambla. Take a break here. As someone else mentioned, people kept walking through the door just to the left of the stage which is a bit distracting.
The dancers, guitarist and singers are all extremely talented and they really did put on an excellent show. Very intense, emotional, passionate and truly captivating.

This lovely young man at Debon meats let us test the cheese and meat we bought. He was so very helpful. We also had take out that was equally delicious!
