Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A very small house to visit but it’s relaxing and would feel you could sit around the venue and take in the beautiful decoration at leisure. Staff friendly and peaceful atmosphere.

We were not familiar with Miro apart from a picture in my sisters hall but we liked it so went to visit the Foundation. So glad we did .
No queues for tickets & they gave us over 65 discount.

Some amazing and immense works of art , some we loved , some we were not so sure about .
The outside sculptures we found were really “ quirky “ , we loved them . They had a reasonable restaurant with beers , soft drinks , cakes , sandwiches......

A little way out of the city , so a metro ride & a walk. Glad we made the effort to come it was worth it.

This was an interesting museum giving an insight into the work and life of Pablo Picasso. It has good examples of his work from his teens right through his career and shows the great versatility and evolution of the man and his art.
    Well worth a visit.

This is quite a small museum in an interesting building. They seem to have one main exhibition at a time - currently an exhibition on tattooing - its history & customs around the world. It’s quite cheap to get in & was pretty quiet - we enjoyed the visit.

Small and relatively expensive (12 euros) for what’s offered. Having said that, there are some nice pieces of furniture and stained glass. Also, they show work by Gaudi, Puig and another famous guy who I cannot remember right now. Also, we were introduced to some other reasonably decent creators of art deco. So what’s the bottom line? If you are coming to Barcelona for the first time and you are staying no more than 3 days, forget about this place. There are much better options for your time. Hell, the Picasso Museum is vastly superior. On the other hand, if you are coming back for a second or third time, like us, and you have used up most everything else, then what the heck, go. You get to kill 30-45 minutes of your day and if you enjoy this stuff, you will be satisfied with the time spent, if not the money.

The building is spectacular, full of light and very airy. The art on show won’t be to everyone’s taste but it was exactly right for me and I found both of the shows that were on to be very interesting. The second floor had nothing on at the time I visited, which was a shame because I would have loved to spend more time looking around. I would definitely return in the future.

Very touristy now, but still architectures are enough to make it worth it. Small side streets can be also filled with tourists but you can always find a spot to enjoy the area

My husband and I bought the Articket BCN, this is one of the places that are included with this pass. We went after seeing the overcrowded Casa Batllo, it was a wonderful peaceful experience. It is very close to the Casa Batllo.
We are new to seeing Antonio Tapies Works, but enjoyed trying to figure them out. There was a film in the auditorium that showed him doing a piece, with an excellent pictorial explanation of where he got his ideas and then how it transformed onto the canvas. Our favorite piece was in the lower level. It was a photography show about an incredible endeavor to create a self sustaining environment in the middle east desert. It is in a large room with the screen filling one entire wall. There are cushions for one to sit on and just take in the show. It does help to understand what you are seeing, if you read the information, which is presented in the foyer of this hall.

So pleased that we were staying not far away and decided to go and see the temporary exhibition of photography by Paolo Gasparini. A friendly and warm welcome from all that we had contact with at this great exhibition space, and we both found the exhibition revealing, stunning as well as impacting and moving. In our view the exhibition is very, very well curated and a visit is highly recommended.

This is a great place to visit - over 250 pieces in the collection plus a temporary exhibition. We enjoyed the contemporary art work very much. Also, check the website for hours since some Barcelona museums are closed on Mondays or Tuesdays. A little hard to find the entrance from the street, depending on which street you are entering from!

This is one of the strangest art museums I've been in. It seems like a hodgepodge of art... and nothing too spectacular. The best it has to offer are about 40 small bronze sculptures by one of Spain's most famous artist Salvador Dali, probably enjoyable to only Dali fans. In my opinion it is not worth the high cost of admission.

We explored the ‘Pericot: Expanded Art, Kinetic and Cubernetic Art’ exhibition at the gallery experience. We were welcomed by friendly staff, and explored the exciting exhibition. None of the exhibition writing or sound was in English, but we still appreciated the art work even without the context.

This gallery has really unique items mostly related to human-technology interactions. You have to see this place before leave Barcelona!
