Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The location, the building and the art it contains all contribute to a fantastic experience. Under 18's free, 12 euros for adults and your ticket is valid for another visit. I don't know my art periods so I'll let the photos do the talking, but you can see various mediums and from Picasso, Miro to Gaudi's furniture and steelworks.

This place is amazing! A huge building with umpteen exhibits to suit all ages. The museum has a dinosaur section with some fantastic skeletons, a wildlife area recreating a rainforest with fish/birds/reptiles/mammals and flora. Other areas include the evolution of man, how the human brain and body works and tens of interactive displays from Newton's cradles to sound waves to how volcanoes form. We didn't go in the planetarium as didn't realise it was extra €6 each. The cafe was reasonably priced. The only negative was the half hour queue to pay and the walk up the steep hill to get there (there is a tram/bus though). We spent about 4 hours there and still didn't see it all.

Great park on Montjuic. I think the nicest way to get up here is to take the underground to Parallel station and then the funiclar (with the same ticket) up to the station where you take the cable car. Then you can walk around the park and enjoy the views and also go visit the castle as well.

Great museum on Joan Miro and his work, with stunning views of the city. We were fortunate to see a Miro and Picasso retrospective, which was fantastic

It’s amazing how Luis has replicated the interior of the spaceship, and the knowledge he shares about how the films were made is fascinating.

A Nice simulation at the start. A lot of themes. A Song of Ice and Fire, Sports, horror, art, music. And the throne of 1000 swords for Selfies. I like it a lot. Would go again next time in Barcelona

Amazing city! The old quarter has all the history and charm and the shopping district , further out, has all you need. We stayed just off la Ramblas but anywhere from Cataluniya square down puts you within walking distance, in the heart of it. The hop on hop off bus is a must and you can plan a good day around this as of course is the unique Familia Segrada and Park Guell if you are up for a lot of walking. To eat, step off Ramblas and search the side and back streets around the Cathedral much better and more authentic food. Be warned though, Barcelona is not cheap.

Come to see a block-long sixteenth century galleon in a fourteenth century boatyard (overlook the poorly designed exhibits)

Though Poble Espanyol was never a true Iberian village but was built to represent one, it has been a part of Barcelona for almost 100 years and we certainly enjoyed our visit. We were there specifically to see a flamenco show but we did do a little exploring and my daughter found a lovely pair of earrings to remind her of our trip to Barcelona. As an architect, I appreciated the examples of vernacular architecture from the past. It is beautiful place to wander for an afternoon and has a handful of shops that sell much higher quality merchandise (that I believe is locally made) than what you would find at a souvenir shop. Though we were there for a specific show, they also have craft workshops and festival events as well. Definitely worth a visit.

It was a nice visit with an acceptable price, personally I think that is not worth to go there just for the house but definitely check it out when visiting Park Güell if you like historical pieces

I was expecting the detail behind each project but instead I believe I had a trip into Gaudis mind and the things that possibly influenced him, which I found very thought provoking. It helped me appreciate his works that I then saw and made me ponder what could have influenced his creativity..I sure hope I see him in heaven he was a genius !!!
