You come at the time you have been allocated then a quick security check and you are in. We went on a Saturday morning, did not need to wait we were straight through then inside the main church. The inside is stunning and well presented. Lots not see and do. There are toilets and other amenities as needed. 30-45 mins is really all you need to see the main church. Lovely cafe with good reasonably priced three course meals. Unfortunately, the match I went to was not won by Barca, but I can't be sad because I went to the match of my favorite team. - Linton B2 contributionsWe bought tickets and did not hire a guide. There is a free audio guide in multiple languages you can download to your phone. Unfortunately after the first few stops in excellent English, the guide defaulted to Spanish and multiple tries failed to correct the issue. Pick up one of the small brochures to get at least some detail. Don't miss the ride to the roof for a spectacular view. - Kay MWakefield, UK100 contributionsLas Ramblas is one of the most famous streets in Barcelona. It is a tree lined pedestrian walk of 1.2km that is flanked by a road. There are "pop up" kiosks selling a range of products (hats, trinkets, etc) and many of the permanent restaurants/cafes have seating areas within the Ramblas.
It's a relatively easy walk on a level service, but is always busy and has a reputation for being the pickpocket capital of the world, so need to be aware of your belongings at all times.

The progressive way in which the entire hospital complex is conceived was extraordinary over 100 years ago and still is today. The architecture design was dedicated to the healing and health of the patient. Make a visit and you will see how the gardens, vistas, and beautiful architecture all come together to promote wellness. Science and spirituality come together in a most compelling way.
