What travellers are saying
- Katie MWashington DC, DC36 contributionsEverything served here is local to the Catalan region and delicious. We were off schedule and starving at 6:00, so we ordered nearly the whole menu and it was amazing: house garancha, croquetas, jamón serrano, olives, anchovies, pan con tomate, and pork ribs. Everything was salty and perfect! Not many veggies on the menu except for an interesting selection of soups. We even took home some coffee and the house wine from the small market. Would recommend to anyone!Written 1 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- PaulB27AugustThe Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield, UK6,265 contributionsMy second visit here and the only disappointment is the lack of tourists, which obviously has nothing to do with the business.
The first visit I had was first class, this one a little more low key. Not to worry, I enjoyed a Praga unfiltered, quite strong and one I'll avoid in future, and a very good "Big bear", a pale ale that is very morish and would sell all over the world 👍
I prefer to sit inside here and enjoy the musicWritten 12 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Beige SNew York City, NY5 contributionsI have no painting experience and amazed how I was able to create such a piece. Bruce teach you basic techniques and gives you creative freedom. I decides to do a painting different from the class and successfully finish. Snacks and wine was delicious . Three hours went by so quick and I wanted to do another session . The wonderful thing is each class is a different artwork, If I ever return to Barcelona I would definitely book three or more sessions. Alisa and Bruce made painting a fun, and sociable activity.Written 5 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Gabriele F5 contributionsGreat place with a wide variety and knowledge of wine. I had a great chat with the friendly owner who was giving us a brief introduction to the various types of wine. Good stuff!Written 28 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Foodiehead39 contributionsI had seen this place on Instagram and wanted to go with my husband on a recent trip to Barcelona, it did not disappoint. The staff are very knowledgeable about their wines and recommendations, and it’s a great place to just sit and chill out of an afternoon with a glass of cava. Will definitely be going again 💓Written 25 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Anca Cristina9 contributionsFintan is not only kind and charming, he’s also a breathing encyclopedia. He’s got the answers to all questions you can possibly ask and has a great talent to share all his knowledge in a fun engaging way.
The wines you’ll taste are carefully selected and Fintan has a story to tell about each — he lives up to the name ‘Cuentista’ (in the good sense).
I’ve been to a lot of tastings but Fintan’s are my favourite as I always learn lots of fun facts about what I’m drinking.
Thank you, Fintan!Written 6 June 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - DoruBucharest, Romania63 contributionsa very well-equipped location with well-trained staff. come back with pleasure when I'm in Barcelona.Written 28 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Percy SWarwick, UK16 contributionsWe discovered this purely by chance and came twice for a drink. Impeccable service and cocktails, surrounded by subtly understated décor, very much with a British influence. We met the owner, Narcis, (charming and obviously on the ball), and were kindly given a sample tapas of the roast beef, which he claimed was as good as any to be had in England. He was right.
If the service and ambience we experienced is as good as the other aspects of the hotel, then The Wittmore not only deserves to be a great success: it will be so.Written 1 November 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - bachletBarcelona, Spain25 contributionsLove this Wine 🍷 Shop, they have a big choice of brands and the employees are very qualified to suggest the best wine of every country that they are selling. I recommend it to wine's lovers.Written 29 March 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
