Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very democratic beach, can play sports or swim with friends and family. Not dangerous waves but it can be dangerous for small kids alone. Bars and restaurants very close but what makes it perfect is the proximity to city centre.

Beautiful sandy beach in a nice secluded cove. Nice restaurants on the beachfront, and plenty of water sports available. You can walk up the cliffs to find some amazing views. Did not feel “touristy” at all, plenty of locals basking in the sun. Would definitely visit again.

A really great beach, divided into smaller sections by the wave breaks gives them each their own vibe, from Paddle playing beach to family beach to nudes and pedalos, you can be sure to find a beach for you.
Take the small road train all the way along the seafront to scout out the beaches first on a round trip.

We spent almost a week on this beautiful beach. We hired sunbeds and a parasol everyday for 8 Euros each. It wasn't overcrowded and very clean. Quite a lot of people smoking though even though it's a no smoking beach. There are steps down to the beach all the way down the promenade and a ramp in the middle for wheelchair and buggys and a wooden walkway that goes almost down to the sea. They do need more ramps though as we have a child in a wheelchair and we were limited to one spot... although it was beautiful. There were lifeguards all the way up the beach and on one day we actually saw the lifeguards take a lady down the walkway on her wheelchair then believe it or not... Carry her to a seat right in front of the sea and they filled a bowl up with sea water and put the lady's feet in it, they were constantly checking she was ok and when she was ready they carried her back to her wheelchair and pushed her back up onto the promenade...full respect to these guys. The sea is lovely but goes very deep, very quickly so be careful with your children. Boat trips, pedalos etc are all available from here. It's a beautiful beach... enjoy.

This area looks amazing. Like from a postcard. But the beach was little pebbles instead of sand and that bothered my feet a lot. The water was beautiful and basically perfect.

Great Beach very close to Hotel 153. About a 10 minute walk. It is a sandy beach and well worth visiting. There is a play area for children. Beautiful scenery.

Shame this clothing optional beach has become full of textiles who hog the place and it's so full naturists are losing out. I get it that it clothing optional but there are plenty of other beaches for the speedo posers to use

I have to say it. But there was one thing made it wrong. I am personally American, so I don’t usually go to “the naked beach.” There is not a lot not, a little, but not a high amount of people doing that. Other than that. So great. Although, there was a lot of little rocks that were there instead of fluffy sand. I guess it’s just that! There was a ton of fun cliff jumping that I enjoyed very much. But when you swim to it, and climb up on it. You may get a little scratches that may cause blood. It happened to me but I didn’t even notice. Overall, 4/5

Plage de Sa Tuna is the most beautiful little cove on the Costa Brava, Spain. I would recommend renting accommodation right in Sa Tuna, we did and it was so idyllic and quiet, we were there in September 2024, it was off season already! There are only three restaurants, an ice cream parlor and a souvenir shop, don't stay there if you are looking for action! The ocean, the walks, the views, all amazing!

Great place to stay, the promenade is flat great for walking, beach is huge and clean, sea clear and shallow. Nice shops, restaurant's, Irish Bar and very reasonable supermarket. If you want to explore the area use the local buses, they are every 15mins. Go into the Plana travel shop on the front and purchase a bus card for your journeys, fantastic value for money. Visit the weekly market at Bonvista it’s the biggest in the area.

We've (myself, my 7 year old daughter and my 70 year old mother) just returned from a week in Salou, and we spent half of our time on this beach.

It was easy to get to from our hotel (10-20 minutes from Best Mediterraneo, it was quicker earlier in the day when it wasn't so hot, though there were lots if places for mum to sit and have a rest en route).

The beach was stunning, lovely sand and clear water that you could walk right out in, even my daughter could stand up all the way out with no problem.

The beach was really busy at times, but there was always space to put your towels. You could also rent a chair, sun loungers and umbrellas which we did on 2 of our visits. It was 21€ for 2 chairs and an umbrella or 34€ for 2 loungers and an umbrella - this was for the whole day.

There was also a little shack that served drinks and food, and there were toilets as well. The food was OK and reasonably priced, but there's also loads of places to eat nearby, and the further you walked away from the beach, the cheaper the prices. We had breakfast one morning at a beachfront restaurant and paid 9.50€ each. When walking back later, we saw a place that was offering breakfast for 5.95€

We enjoyed the beach much more than we did the pool in our hotel, there was plenty of room, more so when you hired the seats and they were all spaced really well. But a lot of people would move on by early afternoon so you could move closer or further away if you wanted.

    I would 100% recommend a visit here as it's a beautiful beach

the view is amazing, you can rent a table with chairs or you can eat in their below average restaurant, i would just go for a hooka and enjoy the scene, ps: they charge you for everything , even the car parking which used to be for free.
