The inner and outer architectural design of this cathedral is simply amazing, unique and worth seeing. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Spain.

Historic preservation while still working monestary. Beautiful sculptured walls and ceilings. A must to see how the monarchs spent public money.

Very nice, to be seen walking into it. Mind that parking is almost impossible for people not living there, and streets to reach it, can be VERY narrow.

Some aspects of this are great. What has been done is done to verybhigh detail; the bottom exposed structure, the miniature soldiers, the displays, the collections and what little of the Civil War is discussed. Especially good is what is discussed and shown about the destruction and now the rebuilt result. It must not really be connected with the Spanish Army as we could not find, or missed anything after the Civil War. The map needs work, directions need work. We did not see the Civil War commanders room or the internal courtyard and we tried to go into the entire place. Early war related displays/history was great and most of everything was also in English.

When we went entrance was free but even when there is an entrance charge it is very minimal and will be well worth the experience! A beautifully laid out venture, nothing like what you would expect of a museum - certainly not stuffy or dry!! he gardens were a delight and very relaxing to sit in. The artworks of El Greco and his contemporaries and followers were very well presented in a reconstruction of his house that used to stand on this site. It was a fascinating insight into this often controversial artist´s work. Would certainly say this is a must see for anyone visiting Toledo

We love touring beautiful old ornate European and North African cathedrals, synagogues, mosque, and churches. In Toledo, we were on a walking tour and the Synagogue del Tránsito was one of the sites where our guide stopped. Although there isn’t a lot to see and the building isn’t as grandiose as some cathedrals or mosque, the history of the synagogue is interesting and the building unique. Historically, for more than a thousand years, Spain was home to a large Jewish community noted for its wealth and importance. The synagogue, also known as the Synagogue of Samuel ha-Levi, was built in 1357 as an annex to the house/palace of Samuel ha-Levi Abulafia, who was Jewish. At the time, he was the regional treasurer for King Peter of Castile. Although the exterior of the synagogue is very plain, the interior of the building is unique because it was designed and built by Moors (Islamic Arabs) who included many elements of Arabic and Islamic art into the interior of the building. Although the Moors dominance around Toledo had ended in 1085, there was still a significant Muslim and Mozart (Arabic-speaking Christians) community in Toledo at the time. In 1492 the Jewish and Muslim religions were banned in Spain and the synagogue was converted into a Christian church. If you visit Toledo, make sure you stop in and tour Synagogue del Tránsito.

It’s not hard to find this historic and attractive old gate as it is situated by the main roundabout and car parks for those visiting the old town. Well worth a look.

You would never expect to experience the incredible entertainment in such a location. It blew away all of our expectations! Right from the car park, you hear the music and are excited to enter. The staff members are in full character and it continues through the entire park. There are allocated smoking areas (YAY, you don't have random people smoking around you!!) and there are plenty of different cuisines around the park for food. The shows are out of this world. You can see how much they have invested into these shows to make them jaw-dropping. Make sure you take good walking shoes, not sandals or any open shoes. It is not concrete that you'll be walking on. Take some snacks, a water bottle and a hat. In other words, go prepared!! It's a shame that they don't provide English headsets, maps or information. Two things that I must comment on, which were VERY disappointing: Number 1 was the outrageous amount of people that they allowed inside the closed entertainment arenas. They made an announcement that the halls were only 75% full due to COVID but that was most certainly a lie. There wasn't an empty seat in the house, for any of the shows. This was very uncomfortable because you could see some people taking their masks off and no staff member was walking around to make sure that people were adhering to the protocols. What made matters worse was that there was zero ventilation in the halls, so everyone was getting their fans out and taking their masks off. Number two, was the "welcome" in one of the shows, where the entertainer was asking the audience to turn their phones off, not take photos, etc in the form of different cultures. Now, this may have been funny years ago but not anymore. There is NOTHING funny about mocking different cultures. It was disgusting, ignorant and racist. This needs to be changed immediately. All the Spanish people were laughing but no foreigner was. It is not funny to make fun of other cultures. Please wake up. I hope that these issues are changed because this is definitely one of the most incredible theme parks that everyone needs to visit!!
