Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- DaMeurmFlamborough, UK51 contributionsDelightful walk about in this park. So many parrots and birds in super avaries. The penguin enclosure is super, along with the aquariums. The Parc has some big cats, which I feel would appreciate bigger enclosures, goes too for the gorillas. But I guess that's zoos for you. The place is filled with trees and spotlessly clean. Plenty of places to sit picnic, cafes and toilet facilties.
I did watch the Orcas. I wouldn't do it again. I stand by my thoughts on this kind of show. I'm not sure how this is contributing to Orca conservation, and read some alarming articles about Morgn, the Orca "rescued" off the coast of The Netherlands when very young. Nothing is conclusive about her deafness it seems. To be verified; that she is pregnant again, despite the agreement not to breed Orcas in captivity. So no, seen the show, and I cannot agree to them. However, it's a personal choice.
There is a free yellow road train to and from the Parc from downtown Puerto de la Cruz.Written 15 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The sea water in the pools is pretty cold but you soon get used to it.
There's plenty of places for drinks and snacks but this year we went to the Restaurante Lago for lunch. The grilled mussels and croquettes were really good. Staff are very friendly and the service is really good.Written 11 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - leuveenLondon, UK1,351 contributionsA stunning, quiet beach close to Puerto de la Cruz. It can be reached from Puerto on foot - it's a lovely walk through banana plantations with stunning views of the ocean. Reasonable fitness required as it's quite hilly and there is a lot of steps - unfortunately it's not accessible for people with mobility issues/prams etc.Written 4 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - zuvBucharest, Romania40,329 contributionsWe passed by here on our way from Puerto de la Cruz to the Teide Volcano. It is a beautiful area, full of greenery. Forest, from place to place, few houses, small agricultural lands, domestic animals from place to place.
I see that many people have posted reviews about the town of La Orotava, which is completely different thing.Written 25 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There is also a sizeable play park for children, in view of the various eateries.
The Christmas decorations were very pretty.Written 21 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It's located on a hill, offering views of Puerto (which also means quite a lot of stairs to climb if you want to get to the top!).Written 5 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 94009007Edinburgh, UK364 contributionsMy wife and I love this beach and visit several times on our Christmas holiday in Puerto. There's a problem with the sewage treatment and levels of bacteria in the water are above the recommended safe levels. So there is a taped off area near the sea and signs to warn that swimming in the sea is not RECOMMENDED but it's NOT closed. Lifeguards are on duty and the toilets are open.
Fewer than usual people were in the sea but still quite a lot. We walked up and down the beach but chose not to go into the water. Better safe than sorry! But I wouldn't be put off coming to Puerto. Lot's of local businesses have signs up criticising the local authority for not doing more to sort out the sewage issue.Written 10 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Once there, paid 4.75 euros per person. The paths are well maintained. The orchids are not the main component - in fact they are off to one side (near the ladies bathroom) in a covered area. They are grown in pots, but there is quite a variety. There is a small bar on site but we did not try it out.Written 23 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Avril QSouth Ayrshire, UK45 contributionsWe love to sit in this area. We especially like it when the waves are crashing up against the walls. It is not always safe to swim as red flags are displayed. It is a refreshing exciting place to sit whatever the weather.Written 28 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - betterthanworkNottingham, UK1,544 contributionsAn attractive Church in the centre of Puerto, with a pleasant little square at the rear.

Type "street art tenerife pdf" into the Google search bar to go to wonderfullifetenerife.com and it will download.
