- Rogério - 56+ countries visitedKlaipeda, Lithuania850 contributionsNice yellow sand beach. A few beach hut and mats for rent at reasonable price. Popular spot for foreigners and locals. Family friendly. Toilets, bar and scenery.Written 15 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- IldaI22 contributionsThe only Beach where I would lay for sunbathing, If in Teneriffa. And I found it not overcrowded like the beaches in south of Teneriffa.Written 18 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Dawn BPadstow, UK24 contributionsThe area has changed a lot over the years.
Plenty of bars, places to eat, supermarkets, every other shop looks the same but it's OK on a warm sunny day.
Loads of nightlife, hotels and self catering.
Always lots of people about day & night.
Fun place to be in the town.
Could be too loud for some people.Written 16 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Gary MillarNorthampton, UK315 contributionsOur favourite beach in Tenerife, with very many restaurants surrounding it to choose from, particularly beautiful with the evening's sunset if having a meal at one of the many restaurants.Written 15 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- ClaireScotland, UK11 contributionsBeautiful beach. Easily accessible, plenty of space. Has sun loungers (I think you need to pay for?)
We lay on our towels on the soft sand. I swam in the sea which was lovely. Lots of families, friends and couples.
Only thing that was a bit annoying was people trying to sell sunglasses, bags ect, constantly coming up to you asking.
Would reccommend and would visit againWritten 18 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Expl0rer1234Bristol, UK117 contributionsWe visited for an evening from Golf Del Sur, just a short bus trip away. Great atmosphere and lots going on. Good amount of restaurants to choose from and a busy beach (visited on Good Friday). Recommended visit while in the area.Written 24 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- ella1507Nottingham, UK23 contributionsGreat little beach - can’t fault it.
Very close to shops restaurants and bars so perfect for a day out. Watch out if you didn’t know you do get charged for use of sunbeds on the beach.Written 17 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Claire R5 contributionsWent here several times & always found a space. Sunbeds are under an "umbrella" with a small table. There was a bar nearby with a few tables if you needed a drink. We also use to leave our towels on the sunbeds & go for a walk in the local shops or restaurants. The price at the time we went was €9 per bed & you could stay as long as you wanted. Someone used to come round & collect the money. There was usually some background music from the nearby bar which we enjoyed also.Written 6 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- rachel gElveden, UK77 contributionsLovely place to visit if local, nice views and sunset. Great place to walk lots of local shops and restaurants for food and drink stops.Written 4 November 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- AndyCornsBury, UK589 contributionsVisited the Piscinas Naturales El Caleton in Garachico. The pools looked lovely was only able to sneak a paddle as the tour guide was adamant that anybody wet wouldn't be allowed back on the coachWritten 25 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- IAN WSt Helens, UK3,371 contributionsreviewed before now, just as good.Clean, golden sands backed by a bustling promenade.Great to sit and watch the beach games being played or just relaxing on the sands themselves.Although a busy beach, you can always find a quiet spot away from the games.
If you don,t want to get "sanded up",you can always sit on one of the numerous benches on the prom.Written 14 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - JohnONeillPaigntonPAIGNTON20 contributionsWalked the length of the beach. Plenty of parking in the carpark and on the roadside but be careful on exiting as there is a large dip in the carpark just before the exit as you turn. Clothes optional on the sunbeds to the left of the beach and also over the small hill on the next beach about a 50/50 mix. Beach clean. The sunbeds are 10 euro for the day 2 beds and an umbrella. Same charge no matter what time you arrive. Mojito man sells a variety of drinks ... a real character. Can get windy and sandblasted. Good beach highly recommended.Written 17 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- george.madigan60Chichester, UK84 contributionsWe got there early (9am) and were just about the 1st on the beach. We got a couple of beds and enjoyed the view.Whilst paddling noticed a few small fish so got out masks and snorkel's.Both of us were surprised at the variety of fish close in and the size of some.Within a few hours it got very busy.Beds are 6 euroes each with a fixed parasol.Would visit again.Written 17 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
