Very nice and authentic style, plenty of restaurants, shops and entertainment not to forget, just a few meters from the beach.

We shopped here several times and stopped for lunch and sometimes dinner. We had meals in Monkey bar and grill and also frequented Monkey Bar sweet corner. Nice area we always visit when we are in Tenerife

We discovered this lovely local market last year and were looking forward to returning. We think it is even better, maybe because there were so many Christmas products this time.
There is a good mix of stalls with something to interest most people, some of the stalls defy description. The central food and bar area is a welcome resting area, especially when the ladies fancy exploring a couple more rows of the market. A lovely pint of draught beer for €1, whats not to like about that?
Although the market is off the main street at the top end of Guaza it is not difficult to find and close to the bus stop, parking is obviously difficult but there is some off road parking although it is very rough. The Sunday market is the main one but it does operate on other days.Well worth finding.

I spend there an hour because it was raining strongly :( You can find a lot of stores there - clothes, toys for children. There are not so many eating possibilities

We stayed early Nov as a family with 2 adults and a 3 yr old.

After reading some of the reviews before we were a little apprehensive but we need not have worried. The rooms are very good and spacious. We had a pool view and I would recommend this if you can as we could also see the sea.

The hotel is very geared towards families. There is a great kids pool which we spent most of our time at. I read the stories about the sun loungers but we never had any issues even going down to the pool about 9.30. There is also a great kids play park altho its not entirely obvious how to access. Our 3 yr old enjoyed the mini disco each night.

Everything is brand new in the hotel and its very clean, Great location as well - close to Safari shopping centre and not far away from the centre of Las Americas also.

Our only negative was the food and specifically the dinner. Breakfast was fine and there is a huge choice but at dinner, we felt the quality of the food was not great and its not that warm either. Yes there are alot of choices but many of these are fish based or other we are not so keen on even though we are not fussy eaters. We ended up eating out 3 nights out of 7.

Even though we didnt find the food great, we would still consider staying here in the future and definitely recommend the hotel for families.

Got the free coach to the Mall after stumbling across the bus stop. Hadnt seen any adverts but was glad made the trip. Good selection of shops, and a few places to eat on the higher floor. Well worth a visit.

    Overall very nice shopping mall...

The exception is the phone accessory store in the basement. The guy scams you with very high prices for low quality goods, shady discounts, and when paying he still puts higher prices than he told you. This store really makes the mall feel unsafe is an absolute scam. This store is very bad for the reputation of the shopping mall and the other stores, which are really very nice. We hope the mall management quickly takes action against this scam.

From the other stores, we can recommend the kind people, quality goods, and good prices. We visited the Intersport for various swimming goods, the supermarket is really great in its offering of foods, drinks, and various beach products. The manicure / pedicure place is clean and the staff is skilled.

Our hosts recommended this market and it was fabulous. We arrived at about 9.30 and it was quite busy - there weren’t many spaces left in the car park. It was even busier when we left at about 11.00 so worth going early.
We walked all round first before returning to buy. Selection was excellent - tomatoes of many types, peppers fresher than any I’ve ever seen in England, aubergines and courgette of many shapes and sizes. Canary potatoes too. All this accompanied by goats cheese stalls and a good fishmonger and butcher, cake stalls, and herbs. I felt like Rick Stein choosing produce to cook that night!
We were a bit worried about buying meat and not refrigerating it straight away but we bought a cool bag at the fish stall which the lady filled with ice. This stayed frozen for 4 hours in the boot of our car. If you’re self catering this is a must visit. If you’re not you could still purchase a cake or two.

Great shopping centre, lots of bars and restaurants, unfortunately some seem to have closed due to the C word, the supermarket in excellent and not bad prices.

Tuesday 14th December and we briefly visited this massive shopping centre in the centre of Santa Cruz.

It really is a shoppers paradise with numerous floors to browse around. We did have a very quick mooch around, not looking for anything specific, then left.

In fairness we had come to see Santa Cruz and it's sights, walking aimlessly around a shopping centre was not on the agenda. Seen many similar.
