Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

😀
Not cheap to visit but well worth it just to see the sharksWritten 26 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. White sand and turquoise water - just the dolphins and turtles missing.
If in Mallorca you must visit! But be early as the beach is quite small.Written 8 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The beginning is close to the Cathedral and it continues eastwards over Can Pastilla all the way to resort town of Arenal.
There're many beach facilities from water sports to bars and restaurants. Set of sunbeds and umbrellas are around 15-20 Euros depending where you rent them, but you can put your towel for free wherever you want.Written 28 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Arenal is a busy resort, very frequented with tourists, mostly German.
The beach itself is very nice, however the back streets are a disaster - very narrow, impossible to park, nothing to see if walking and filled with people mostly drunk.Written 28 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. No idea how to pronounce it (Catalan name). It is a popular tourist attraction because of the tranquility that the park offers.Written 29 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KieronnnCork, Ireland17 contributionsWe visited this beach today, considering it is only April and isn’t ‘holiday season’ yet, this is quite crowded for the time of year. The beach/bay give amazing views and the water is a lovely clear light blue colour. There were ladies walking around offering massages, we opted for a upper body massage for €10 and it was amazing! The lady did around 15-20 minutes each of us, so a tip was definitely warranted. There’s a restaurant and a bar along the edge of the beach and some shops closer to the main road too.Written 23 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rushbag_89Exeter, UK19 contributionsAmazing pebble beach with crystal clear water, millions of fish and lots of jumping spots, but a couple of things to note first…
Firstly, park your car at the small car park at the top of the hill. (Mirador del Colomer). Parking is free and you can get the bus (€2.50pp single) from there to Cala Figuera/ Cala Murta. The road is closed from Platja de Formentor between 10am and 7pm, and although there is a car park there too, it’s very expensive.
Secondly, once off the bus, the walk down to the beach is steep. Very steep. It resembles a dried up stream, and I’d imagine it could be extremely slippy if it has rained prior to your visit. Wear rock shoes, you’ll need them on the beach anyway.
Finally, there are wild goats on the beach. Emphasis on the wild part. They stink, and if you have food with you, get used to the stench because they will steal anything and everything they can eat. On that, take water with you as there is literally nothing there other than the beach.
Don’t let the difficult bits put you off though, this beach is stunning, and with a bit of preparation you’ll have an amazing day out. 👍Written 14 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Some find it easier (or like the challenge) or doing it from bottom to top, but it is very easy to lose the path out uphill at the top end due to long grass tussocks and many goat-tracks.
This is not a stroll - but a challenging scramble at times over the enormous boulders that have fallen into the Torrent. Take a length of rope and it will help at some of the more challenging bits - and go well shod carrying plenty of water. Follow the paint markings and cairns (piles of stones) to make sure you are on the right track.
It is simply jaw-dropping!
Do not enter the gorge if bad weather is threatened, as you can only get in our out at top or bottom - and the clue of what can happen is in the name (Torrent de Pareis)!Written 23 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Really quiet, untouched, beauty. Perfect for snorkelling and exploring. We were there in April, so the water was still pretty cold. But I imagine in high season it’s even more glorious!Written 12 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Veera Reku2 contributionsReally cool cave and worth a visit! It didn't look much at first since the cave entrance was in the restaurants yard. We bought the tickets there and it was 12€ per each.
The cave was amazing and we were able to go around the paths by ourselves as long as we wanted. There were quite many steps but not too much. At some points the cave was a bit low so if you suffer from clautrophobia maybe this cave isnt for you :)
Very nice experience and highly recommend if you want to enjoy beautiful caves in peace and not in the croud (like in the Drach caves). There were also a nice looking restaurant if you get hungry.Written 15 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The first stop coming from attractive Deia (160m asl) was its little cove, about 3km away. It took me a leisurely 45min to get to Cala Deia.
There are several boats, that one sees before reaching the sea, all lined up by the cobblestoned path that goes to the few houses to the left of the cove. At the end one has to cross a small footbridge. I very much enjoyed the scenery early morning, when there all by myself.
The small beach can hardly be called that though, since it consists mainly of big pebbles, with some rocks in the water and cliffs on the side. Not really an ideal place for a swim or a relaxed beach time, but very beautiful to look at, especially in the solitude of a clear winter day with the first sunrays touching the place.Written 3 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Local artist Joan Miro has contributed a large ceramic work on a wall in shining blue. The open area restaurants are solely for tourists to have a quick drink or bite as well as the artisans' kiosks selling pricey products.Written 15 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Leite S47 contributionsAmazing beach, the prettiest I've seen. The walk there is pretty steep, not for everybody surely, and the beach is narrow so not really for family sunbathing, but the water, the sand, the view of the mountains is just out of this world. It's not widely known so off-season you'd be there alone most likely :)Written 22 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Stuart SSuffolk, UK167 contributionsLovely sunny relaxing park in Santa Catalina. Plenty of grassy spaces and benches in the sun, fountains, monuments, large children's play areas & a large cafe for drinks and snacks with large in/outside seating. Very close 5 minute walk to Santa Catalina Market and the modern art gallery (Es Baluard Museu d'Art).Written 1 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
