Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Enough time to see and take photos of places of interest. Our tour guide was experienced and added a lot of interesting detail. All up about 10,000 steps. Make sure to have water with you. It was 28C but guide said it gets much hotter as summer progresses.

The bus never picked us up. The tour operator said the bus got mixed up but we still missed our tour. We received a refund but we lost several hours of our vacation waiting for a bus that never arrived.

This tour is a must for your holiday!, we booked this tour from getyourguide.com which are an amazing website, so easy and simple to book from. This tour started pick up very early in the morning of a pick up time of about 7:15 in the morning from a specific point in Benalmadena where we were staying, the tour guide spoke very good English and was a very lovely man! the only thing i would say is they don't tell you specifically where to wait for your coach so the tour guide was very good in that way and he came up to us and asked us if it was us who as going on the tour as we was waiting on a bench up the road from where the coach pulled up outside a bus stop. The coach then was off to pick a lot of others up, then we headed off to a little cafe. This is my only negative about the tour, the tour says you get breakfast included on the way however they stop and rush you and say you only have 20 minutes to order something to eat and then leave again, in which we did this here and all the ladies who worked here didn't even know what an egg sandwich was and got confused for about 15 minutes before making us a egg baguette which is easily done. After the cafe we got there and from there the experience was absolutely amazing!! the views were breathtaking and pictures do not do this tour any justice. i would recommend this tour to anyone!

I’ve been in Spain for 3 weeks and taken many many hours and this one has to have been the absolute best!!! You first get picked up at your hotel and then your tour begins!

You drive to Gibraltar with stops on the way with explanation of the history and emerse yourself in all the beauty the new towns have to offer as each one is different from the other! The tour guide on the way is absolutely brilliant! Once you arrive in Gibraltar you meet with a local guide who takes you to all the best spots from the bottom of the rock to the top! WOW WOW WOW!

I got to see and hear history of the rock on this tour you would never experience anywhere else. As we made our way up the rock we stopped in an interactive cave with lights and beautiful music that takes you through just like a movie! It is magic! Then you learn the history of the rock and how it came to be. Touring the r secrets caves within!

The best part- the monkeys!!!! You get to visit them in ways and see how the guide interacts with them different than the tourists. They know what they want and give you a beautiful story of how they came to be… and if you would believe it they know every monkey by name! This you will learn. It is so interesting! The great part as well is you do not have to climb and climb we everywhere, the guide drives you up with his special access.

Learning about the history and culture of the rock is outstanding. End the day with shopping and lunch at the bottom of the rock in the beautiful town and scenery from below!

This is a must see! You will not be disappointed in the least! I left that day all smiles because I couldn’t believe what I experienced.

    HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Please do yourself a favour and just book it! Happy travels

Absolutely amazing experience with ‘Tours Travel & More’ to Tangier! We had a mini bus pick up our little 9 person crew (4 adults, 2 kids, 3 babies!), in Torremolinos, and we headed to the port in Tarifa. They accommodated us perfectly. Communication organizing this day was easy and quick. Arrival in Tangier and Samir was our tour guide waiting at the port. We spent the day with him by private van / walking tour. We learnt a lot and had the most amazing meal in the Medina of Tangier. Truly an amazing experience and I would recommend 100%.

We booked for a private bus tour from benalmadena to Gibraltar to include the rock, caves & monkey viewing with a couple of hours free time for shopping. Glad we went on a Saturday as less busy and passport control queues were quicker. Absolutely loved the experience was a packed day but a great time had.
Caves were amazing and surpassed our expectations when it came to the light show inside was transfixed. Saw a few monkeys on the trip but being an extremely hot day most were in the shade of the tree’s, lovely to see them roaming free and no bad behaviour as I’ve read about before this experience, just ensure you don’t feed them or get too close.
Shopping was brilliant and so was the tax free pricing. Felt strange being surrounded by such English icons as red phone boxes, post boxes and even police wear English uniforms. Loved hearing the locals speaking a mixture of English then jump into Spanish and back to English. Would highly recommend a day trip here, such an eye opening experience with history in abundance and would certainly return.

I had booked this day trip for my husband as I have had a positive experience with Viator some years ago. Sadly the contracted company changed the date and then did not show up at 9 am (new dste). Bad communication did not establish whether a car or van would ? Replace the broken down van. After waiting for 90 minutes at the busy street my husband walked back to our apartment. We are still waiting for a refund. Taking public transport from Malaga to Granada would have been a much better option.

In all fairness, I only booked the Malaga Shopping Trip as I wanted to see the Barbary Apes and visit the other Rock, as I'd lived on the rock in Montserrat (Caribbean) for 16 years.

The bus arrived at in a timely manor and was comfortable. The German guide was very precise, in the way only Germans can be, and didn't like the fact I couldn't show him my ticket - I explained I had no wifi on my phone. (Not because I couldn't afford it, but because the phone is new and I don't know what I'm doing with 4G so couldn't get it to function. I didn't tell the guide this and think he assumed I was poor as I like to travel incognito and am not rich anyway).

It took ages to pick up people all along the Costa Del Sol and we finally arrived in Gibraltar at 10.20, about 3 hrs and 20 mins after we left Malaga. We were given till 3pm to either pay (again) for the shopping tour or go on the bus's own tour of the island. Mr guide did his best to sell us the tours (I had explained I had no interest in shopping (he thought I wasn't taking it because it was too expensive - 25 euros to be guided around a few touristy shops is too expensive, but the truth is I hate shopping, hate it) , but he didn't get I preferred to do my own thing, necessary as a photographer, and not wanting to go on the tour.

I found John Guy hanging around in a square and in fact paid him to take me to see the apes. John is famous for his singing of 'If I was a rich man' with ape accompanists (BBC) and was also shot on film in the Bond film, 'The Living Daylights'. I am famous for talking about goats and a hostel in Montserrat during Hurricanes Irma and Maria (BBC etc) so we had a bit in common. I had been planning to catch the cable car up the rock, but it was about to be closed due to high winds. A friendly cop (actually, Johns Uncle Arthur) informed us. Nevermind, I got to take a photo of John's Uncle in full police uniform on a motorbike....with his very own rabbit ears.

We didn't go all the way up the rock as we both had limited time and it was more interesting to play with the apes, though you musn't touch them first the park ranger explained. They like to be in control. They are golden apes and have orange coats. There is a monkey in charge of the States who also looks like that, I'm told.

However, John had trained a female ape to jump on his client's shoulders which gave me a bit of a fright. It was also a bit smelly, but had a soft coat and beaufitul golden fur. It sort of ambushes Johns' clients. One minute you're talking to John about the weather, the next minute you've got a parrot on your shoulder, sorry, I mean a monkey. Aaaaaargh. Pirate!

Anyway, so that was what I did on my shopping trip to Gibraltar. I did buy a fridge magnet with a map of Gibraltar, Spain and North Africa on it, complete with lucky coin, and a nice solar charged revolving hummingbird on an artificial sunflower. So far, it's either not sunny enough to charge in the UK or simply it doesn't work and I was ripped off.

Gibraltar is a rather odd place and the people seemed somewhat strange. I did like the man whose dog played the piano by hitting the keyboard with its head outside the church or Cathedral in Main Street. G and T's, taken with my breakfast and as a substitute for lunch, having eaten friend bread for breakfast at a rather overcrowded establishment, turned out to be 6 pint buckets. They do things a little different in Gibraltar! Drinks are cheaper that than the UK, food is more expensive (I think though I only had bread and avocado so don't take my word).

We were told to be back at the bus at 2.45pm to leave at 3pm. I got there about 2.40pm and nearly everyone had already returned. So don't know if that was a comment on shopping or touring Gibraltar.

I would recommend their tour as it was about the same price as mine, but I would recommend finding John Guy hanging around just past the Cathedral as he is an interesting guide and good at his job.

I could probably have got a bus myself to Gibraltar for less, but this was the relatively laziest way to get there. Make sure you phone them to confirm as I would never have found the meeting place without their direction in Malaga.

As for their tour guide, he seemed quire kind, but you can never judge a book by its cover! He was definitely German.

We had a wonderful experience with Thomas. The visit to Ronda was high on our list for places to visit and the day exceeded our expectations. THIS is the way to travel. Don’t miss Ronda!

This was a great tour. We were two families of four. Our driver Mohammad was a very good driver and made our drive a s comfortable as possible. Our guide Simon was incredibly helpful and informative. He helped take great pictures and provided helpful tips. It was an extremely hot day and making sure we skipped the lines and found cool places to rest was essential to keeping everyone in good spirits. He was very engaging and kept the teenagers and the adults entertained. Highly recommend this tour.

I like that although my son and I were the only ones who signed up, we still got to go. Our guide only knew a little English, and I wished he knew more becausewe asked for a English speaking guide during booking. It was very cool to go into the cave. The free time we had to explore was wonderful.
