Easy to walk around in sturdy shoes. Plenty of shady areas to explore. Not suitable for wheelchairs tho. Beautiful architecture.

I'd highly recommend visiting this market. It's not big but it's got everything you want - from a beer to fresh seafood. If you want to buy fresh seafood I'd recommend PEDRO GALLARDO - a super lovely bloke and he helped me get all the stuff I wanted. Reasonable price, high quality :)

What a beautiful building this is. Full of interesting artifacts and steeped in history. Malaga is a wonderful city and next time I visit I will stay here rather than the costal resorts. The bars and tapas were absolutely lovely. You must visit.

Really nice area. It has shops, cafeterias and bars and in general a nice relaxing atmosphere - but of course turisted. It is very moderne and everywhere was so clean. You can also come close to see the big cruise ships, when they are in harbour.

If you like a bit of a hike up some rather steep inclines this is an absolute must. The views on the way up are great but just get better and better once you reach the top. The all around view of Malaga one side and the Port, Marina and bullring on the other are brilliant. Well worth the 22,000 steps round trip.

I love to spend time in art museums, so I prefer to go solo and take my time. This was a great way to get to know Picasso. The art work displayed showed his entire span from early works when he was just learning all the way to the early 1970s before his death. Worth the visit.

A unique museum - you should definitely go!! A real find, very interesting with the added benefit of a personal guide, who was extremely knowledgeable. It’s one person’s collection, which makes it special

This lovely mall/walkway ticks all the boxes, immaculately clean, quite shady, (at least during our visit), not packed and no harassment, in our opinion the perfect place to shop and enjoy the moment.

Countess and international socialite Carmen Thyssen obviously assembled her impressively deep collection of Spanish art from the mid-19th to early 20th Centuries with an eye to the paintings' purpose. Some of the most interesting were genre paintings that bordered on kitsch -- rosy-cheeked maidens at grilled windows entertaining suitors, peasants dancing at festivals, brawls disrupting taverns. Many of these were executed in 12" X 18" formats so that 19th Century tourists could transport them back to England or America as souvenirs. One whole gallery was devoted to seascapes, several of them large format. The most technically impressive paintings showed interior scenes, such as altar boys in a cathedral, with remarkably rendered silks and brodades.

Lovely garden. Well worth a visit. Easy enough to get to by bus (route 2) from Central Málaga and a walk. Great little cafe with good bocadillos.

I really enjoyed exploring two floors of the Museo de Malaga, gaining a better understanding of the Malaga region (from an archaeological perspective) and also finding out about some painters that were previously unknown to me. The museum has a great collection of paintings - from classic to more modern painting. Allow 2 hours to view the exhibits at leisure.

We walked slowly around the park, noticing the different areas within it. There's a playground, an small outdoor theatre area, fountains and plenty of gardens.
If you're in Malaga and passing the area, why wouldn't you walk through here rather by the busy road?

We rented an AirBnb about two short blocks from the Santuario de la Victoria. I visited it many times, stopping to pray twice.
