Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- TinaRedcar, UK956 contributionsVery well appointed & looked after beach. Lovely palm tree lined prom, lots of restaurants, clean public toilets, shops close by & plenty of loungers. The beach is extensive but does goes very busy. We fortunately arrived early and was able to get loungers. However, all the loungers at the front were reserved. An an hour or so after we arrived there wasn’t a lounger to be had. Really loved the beach though, a great holiday beach with everything on hand, just make sure you get there early if you want a lounger!Written 22 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Honest reviewerGenk, Belgium273 contributionsNot the best beach in Spain. If thats what you require, maybe Malaga is not for you. Sand is big grain, rocks, and very cold water. But very lively beach with young and old people. Felt safe to leave my stuff while in the water.Written 15 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. A really good beach ,sands are pristine, sun loungers galore and great beach amenities, I did notice the beach showers weren't in operation due to the extreme heat ,we visited here on a roasting hot afternoon, beach packed, we went for a swim ,quite shallow a long way out, cooled down in the beautiful Mediterranean Sea, we then relaxed and dried off in the sun in a chiringuito with a beer ,a beautiful beach, most definitely well worth checking out if you're planning a holiday to the Costa Del Sol.Written 5 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The white sand beach is to the east off Balcon de Europe. It is the prettiest unban beach we saw during our trip. Getting down to it from the town takes some exercise.Written 21 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Charlene T2 contributionsWe stopped at Havanna bar and restaurant and hired a balinese bed for €50 with a bottle of cava included. Was a nice bit of beach, shallow enough shore for our child to paddle and clean enough.
I would say remember to book a table if you want to eat at the restaurant as we couldn't get food in the afternoon. Drinks not too expensive.Written 22 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
