Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Wow!! What an amazing experience. Javier ( Hope I’ve got your name right) was an excellent host, very knowledgeable and loquacious. We visited several tapas bars and restaurants and had an eclectic mix of food and wine. Great bunch of people on our evening, we all got on so well.
I would highly recommend this tour. A great way of getting to know the area. Excellent 👍

For a relatively cheap price, our family were taken out for a great experience. Staff were friendly and suppportive. The transport was prompt and comfortable. Breakfast and lunch were minimalistic so I'd pack some food for the day.

The Best of Malaga tour was excellent. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Malaga. The tour was 3.5 hours long on a very warm day. It involved a good deal of walking.
It is suggested that a 15-20 minute break between the Alcazaba and the Cathedral take place in future tours.
Overall however, it was an excellent tour.

My friend and I had the pleasure of doing a tapas food tour with Spain Food Sherpas last week and it was fantastic! Highly recommended. Our guide Felipe was knowledgeable, friendly and told us so much about the history of the city and the heritage of the food and ingredients we were sampling. We had some great dishes that were new to us (Malaga figs with almonds, Malaga salad) and some favourites (padron peppers, Jamón Ibérico etc) and were taken around Malaga's historic market and some traditional delis and restaurants to sample the different foods, washed down with wine or other local drinks (such as sangria & vermouth). The 3.5 hours flew by but what was great that we weren't always walking or on our feet, it was a very relaxed afternoon, with four stops and lots of time to sit, relax and get to know our fellow guests (there was a cruise ship in town, so our group comprised of Northern Irish, English, Canadian, German and American people.

It was fascinating to learn more about the bullring, the history, and local culture. The insights were really enlightening.

Additionally, we loved the personal anecdotes you shared with us. They added a special and unique touch to the experience. Our children were engaged and enjoyed you which is one of the primary measuring sticks for us.

Lastly, I wanted to thank you for recommending Casa Maria. We had an outstanding lunch there, the food was delicious.

We always try and find the guides that are most expert in the area of interest, and you met our expectations…which is not easy. Buen hecho!

    Thank you for everything!

Our guide Sonia made our tour of Ronda an interesting and informative time.

She was right on time and tailored to the tour to match our interests and abilities. My folks are in their 70s and she was patient and made sure everyone had caught up before starting to talk.

We covered a good deal of ground and got a feel for the town in only 2hrs.

Highly recommend a tour with Sonia!

After several visits to Marbella, my friends and I decided to get off our sun beds and do something more interesting.
Taste of Marbella market your seemed to fit the bill.
Linda was our guide and she was brilliant, giving us a brief history of Marbella before taking us to its market.
We were intro to several stall holders and sampled beautiful ham, cheese fish and sausage, all accompanied by appropriate wines.
What a fantastic way to spend 3 hours!
    Linda 10 out of 10
Marbella market 10 out of 10

    Same again next year!

Pick up was very prompt at all stops.

Upon arrival at Caminito del Rey and given our compulsory safety wear, we were all given the option to walk with our tour guide (Luis) or walk it ourselves at our own pace.

We decided to stay with Luis, as we do tend to walk quickly and we didn't want to finish too early or miss anything. At total of about 14 people on our coach chose to do the same and it was a good decision.

We walked at a perfect pace and Luis gave us details about the history and points of interest. We even found out that the railway line is still in use today, being the Malaga to Seville route, as well as how the earth plates were so different in each gorge (three in total). There were plenty of photo opportunities and Luis offered several times to take pictures of each group.

A few friends have commented that Caminito del Rey's walkways look very high. I can reassure you that I was never aware of being that high up at any stage, you were walking on solid ground between walkways.

Towards to end of the walk, Luis showed us a red peppercorn tree and we could even try the peppercorns, which we would have missed otherwise.

At the end of the walk we still had plenty of time of get a drink and look at the merchandise.

Genuinely a brilliant experience. It was a relatively easy hike. The paths are flat and boarded - the thing that will get you is the heat so make sure you take plenty of water. Our guide, Irai, was amazing, very funny and super friendly and met us at the bus stop. When we got there, he took us along the Caminito del Rey and gave us water at the end. The views were spectacular and it was nice to learn about the history too. The entire experience is well worth the price and I couldn’t recommend this hike more.

We had Damian as our guide who took us on a nice walking tour of Malaga sharing stories, history and architecture. We had 4 couples total on the tour, so it was a nice, small group. We were able to skip the line at the cathedral and Damian gave us a tour. We saw all the major sites and enjoyed meandering through the lovely streets. There were two stops at local places (not tourist filled) for pre selected tapas and wine. It was a nice variety of food, something for everyone. Truly enjoyed our day and time in Malaga!
