Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The East Side Gallery is a must see free attraction when visiting Berlin. The paintings are outstanding, lots of variety. It’s a 0.8 mile walk each way along the way, but easy and flat. It does get very busy though, especially around the iconic “kissing” mural so my recommendation is go early in the day.

Really nice to learn about the history of computer games and play a few games yourself. I would've loved this place more if I were a kid. But for adults you still get to see many of your childhood gaming consoles again. The shop sells some computer game related stuff, but you could also get these from other gaming stores as well. Would be nice if they sell something more original and related to the museum.

The arena is very big and you can see a lot even from very far away. (On the concert) you have to get used to loud sound but the expirience was very good. People are very nice and you can find everything easily.

This is a beautiful-looking bridge, connecting the east side of Berlin to its west side.
It provides some lovely photo-ops of the East Side Gallery on the Wall.

This neighborhood was quiet during Sunday morning hours. Few walkers and moderate car traffic. Lots of 50's houses.

In general, the bar has its own beer which makes it an experience if you are into that. At the same time, the prices are affordable and you will have the opportunity to sit on benches on the street.

We did a walk from out airbnb flat at Gabriel-Max Strase and the smell of food made us stop. We had some great streetfood and looked at all the interesting shops.

Volkspark Friedrichshain is a green oasis in the massive stone jungle called Berlin.

Here you can lie down in the grass, chill on the benches, take walk or a run, play volley ball, remember and honour soldiers who fell during WWII - and if you have a dog there is a secluded area where she can play with other happy dogs.

Go for a walk and discover the awesome street art and graffiti, grab something to eat (especially if you're looking for kebab/falafel), have a drink in one of the bars. The East Side Gallery is also not far. In the evenings there are usually buskers making music at the S-Bahn-Station, which is also worth a visit!

To be honest, we popped in looking for a toilet before walking along the Eastside Gallery; however we thankfully decided to do the museum...so glad we did!

As a teenager in yorkshire in the 80's i was 'aware' of the Berlin Wall, i remember news reports people being shot trying to get across...but what it was/represented etc passed me by.
I thanks to the museum, now understand so much more and there were some emotional moments. Highly recommend.

The play ( die Therapie ) was entertaining and the ending had a twist. It also left space for double meaning and interpretation. The actors were good and the atmosphere was pleasant. The only problem was the sitting: for a small person I really had problems in seeing something because the sits war too deep and for my companion, the spat for his legs was very limited.

Our guide Heidi was amazing - intelligent, charming, and so knowledgeable. It was a freezing cold day but she managed to keep us interested and engaged. Great overview of the history and the city.

I’ve been there to attend a conference. The mix of an old building with all the techno developments was very nice. With lot’s of space outside to appreciate the very good weather that could be felt these last days with a excellent view to one of Berlin’s canals.

Truly exquisite club experience - there’s a reason people queue for hours. The queue is exactly the reason I won’t return, however, despite it being one of my most memorable nights out (hedonistic doesn’t even begin to cover it).

When I go out, it’s on and I’m on! I want to have fun, dance, interact with people. Standing meekly and quietly for hours (with the potential for not being let in!) isn’t my idea of a good time. But it’s an excellent, often-used marketing tool which in this case is exceedingly successful.
