Kind of grungy looking park with a hillock in the middle, definite local folk ambiance, many folks lounging on the hillside watching the sunset on lazy summer evenings, there's a nice little artificial waterfall running down the hill from the bastion on the top, with people having a bath, children splashing around, running barefoot down the footpath, cute and funny. The monument at the top of the hill features a sculpture dedicated to the Napoleonic liberation wars. One has nice views of the park and the city from the monument's platform. In fact on summer evenings there can be quite a few people lounging on the steps, taking pictures, talking, enjoying a beer. Nice vibe. At the foot of the hill, down the path along the waterfall, there is a little pond featuring a sculpture called "Rare haul" (Der seltene Fang) by Herter, depicting a fisherman struggling to catch a mermaid. Cool visit.
