Tailored the tour to what we wanted to see- clearly knew a lot about Berlin

Five days, 350k, of bike riding in Berlin surroundings, courtecy of Berlin Racing Bikes, who will fit, customize, deliver and pick up the bikes at your Berlin address at a very reasonable price. And the bikes are awesome too: carbon framed Canyon Endurace with Ultegra group set. Highly recommendable. Thanks, John and Ignacio! We will ride again. Bis bald!

Very informative, we chose not to see the top sights but rather see 3 different districts and the history of them. Alex gave us great insights in to the Berlin history and as a local the special atmosphere of the city. Highly recommend. Bring your own bike or rent from him.

We were short two bikes for a cycling trip in an around Berlin so booked them with Aspire and also two guided tours. John Denning was excellent in looking after the nine of us from Edinburgh over three days and I can thoroughly recommend his and Aspire's services. John accompanied us to a couple of bars and made a dinner reservation at a cracking traditional restaurant off the beaten track as well as suggesting places to visit. He also took us to the Berlin Grizzlies rugby match against Leipzig which rounded off a great few days. Cheers John. Ali

Rented bikes here for a weekend in Berlin. Bicycles (Giant) are really in perfect condition and very good quality (e.g. front fork and saddle suspension, 8 gears). And a lot cheaper than other bike rentals in Berlin.

Top experience, I strongly recommend !

Alex is a real passionate about kiting, and it’s a real pleasure to benefit from his experience and pedagogy to discover landboarding.

Cherry on the cake, what a great place to practice this sport in the middle of Berlin.

Alex uses good quality material to ensure a smooth, quick and safe learning.

    Many thanks Alex !

Booked a three hour river cruise with a BBQ on board for my brothers stag do. Absolutely fantastic journey. The captain and his crewman were really helpful and knowledgeable about the sites that we passed and were more than accommodating to help us set up the BBQ etc....in hindsight I should have told them to order more beer in as we ran out quite quickly 🙈

    So here's my story...
We hired a vespa by the internet... When we came there, the shop was closed, because on sunday its their closing day. The guy from the shop SPECIALLY came open the shop for us so we could rent a vespa.
But we didnt had much time because we had to drive 7 hours home...
We could only deliver it back at 18:00 and we wanted to leave at 15:00.
So we talked and we came to the conclusion that i could better cancel it, he also said we could do this better by foot because of the Berlin Marathon we couldnt get anywhere with the vespa. He didnt want any money for the cancellation but i did give him something because he did all this for us. (He drove 2 times to the shop because we were half hour to late.
If id go again to Berlin i would defenitly rent a vespa here!!

    Problem 1: Hard to find
Arrived at the entrance of Strandbad Wannsee. Despite the huge advertisement at a gate, it was unclear where to go. (Left through the forest along the fence, then right and downhill.)
    Suggestion: but up more signs.

    Problem 2: Service level
I wanted to rent a windsurf board. I windsurf for multiple years, but never did a "windsurf license" (not required by law, no one asks for it, etc. etc.)
Apparently they require a windsurf license to rent a windsurf board due to "insurance reasons". If that's their policy, ok, I know, windsurfing equipment is expensive.
However, I go there and want to spend money to rent a board, their job is to give me options and tell me, what's possible. For example, someone does a "check ride" with me. Not possible, no one was there or had time. Paying another few euros for insurance or signing something that I am liable for damages. Not offered.
Suggestion: offer check rides or a rental insurance - and - state on your web site that this is required.

... I ended up renting a SUP board. Positive: there was a good selection of SUP boards, inflatables and hard boards.

    Problems 3.1 and 3.2:
The paddle was missing a screw and became loose. Therefore I needed to go back. I would expect them to maintain the equipment better.
The paddle is simple aluminum. Should be carbon these days even for rental.

And finally there is a contradiction: In the wind surfing class that was going on in parallel they left their sails clew-first at the beach. That should be the very first thing that you learn: always mast-first in order not to put yourself or others in danger and not damage the equipment. However, you can't rent without a license. I wonder, what their insurance says, if the sail hits me when it's picked up by the wind...

    Positive things:
    - broad selection of equipment: SUP boards, windsurfing, sailboats, etc.
    - prices market-average
    - infrastructure: changing rooms, places in the shade, cooled drinks

Final thought: I mentioned the above right on site to some employees. Being service-oriented the reply should be "thank you for your feedback, we will work on it". This was not the case, the reply were excuses and statements why they would be right.

We tried out Uber Jump electric bikes in Berlin. It was our first time hiring electric bikes and used Uber because it was so easy and didn’t require any setup as we have the Uber app.
Weather it is electric or even a normal bike it was a great way to get around the city. We needed up hiring these 3 times and I can’t recommend it enough. Berlin is a very bike friendly city so there was no stress and it was a nice way to get around.

Went to try and rent two electric bicycles after seeing they were available to rent by the hour online. We visited the store, the woman who greeted us was very blunt and told us it was not possible to rent by the hour and that their website does not state you can rent them hourly. Very rudely said we can either rent them for at least 24 hours or not at all
