Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A well appointed City Park and ideal for relaxation and walking . There are some Fairs during certain times where one could buy artifacts and general items of interest .

We visited early morning and found the park deserted. We literally had the plaza and memorial mound to ourselves before a bike tour eventually arrived. Very peaceful after a hectic few days. Combine with a walk back to centre via East Side Gallery and Kreuzberg.

Nice, but not over the entire length. Moreover some roadworks ongoing, I have seen it more attractive. But excellent shopping place!

the park is one of the most popular places for young residents of Berlin, especially from the fashionable district of Prenzlauer Berg, and attracts basketball players, jugglers, musicians, and many other types of people. It is a crowded leisure ground and a site of sustainable improvised nightlife, especially in the summer, and has also become notorious for Walpurgis Night riots in recent years. There are two stadiums next to the park, including Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Sportpark and Max-Schmeling-Halle, home to several of Berlin's local sports teams.

Tempelhof Airport is full of history and since its closure the idea of turning it in to a park for me was an inspired one. It was very cool to walk the runway and see the imposing terminal building. Situated out of the city centre but 100% worth it and served by metro stations.

Loved it. Large Zoo without the crowds of the Berlin Zoo. Beautiful parks and superb animal exhibitions. Would definitely come again.

It’s January so this was about the glasshouses not the wider park which was doing maintenance and dismantling its Christmas lights trail.
The glasshouses are excellent. About 11 in all with a wide array of climates and temperatures. Travel the globe in the warm and dry regardless of the weather and see and smell a wonderful variety of plants. Entering into an array of water tanks and microclimates also gave more variety to the morning, and space for coats and bag lockers.
Only a few of the information panels had English as well as German, but the staff were always happy to talk about the area they were working in. The restaurant is cakes and soup so use as a snack rather than lunch stop.

Entrance fee & Euro. Did not use the restaurant so unable to comment on prices, but those are the Chinese Garden seemed a bit high. Facilities (WC) good in main building with restaurant, lift here for disabled visitors - WC one level down stairs.
A useful map is provided so you can do the circuit, there's lots of space for a picnic and some children play places. The individual gardens are though provoking. The only one which I certainly did not like was the Christian garden since I felt locked in behind fences and wanted out.
On the other hand the Islamic garden for me was just like stepping back to a holiday in Oman.
I am not sure if the cable way would be worth it. It was not for me.
Getting there ask Google. for directions, since it could be a it difficult for some..
Its an S Bahn from the city centre, then a bus and short walk

We visited this aquarium as part of a Berlin zoo trip. This aquarium is accessible from the street and the zoo.

It’s a very nice aquarium with a Lot of things inside it. It has insects and crocodiles in a sort of tropical setting.

I’m not sure the cost to get inside here myself. It it’s definitely worth a visit. I could recommend this place.

The island is nicely located in Berlin Wannsee and wonderful for a walk and talk whilst watching the peacocks and other birds. The restaurant on the island was closed for covid restrictions but the trip with the double decker bus through the woods and the little ferryboat alone was worth going there.

Britzer Garten is an enormous park, with lots of shade and hydration points. It’s a great place to be, spend time with your kids, smell some fresh air etc.

Be aware that most shops in the park are cash only, and some accept only German cards. All of this can be avoided with a bit of cash, but be aware.

Volkspark Friedrichshain is a green oasis in the massive stone jungle called Berlin.

Here you can lie down in the grass, chill on the benches, take walk or a run, play volley ball, remember and honour soldiers who fell during WWII - and if you have a dog there is a secluded area where she can play with other happy dogs.
