Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Reichstag Building is an impressive architectural masterpiece in Berlin with a rich history. The large glass dome is a striking feature and the surrounding gardens are beautifully landscaped. It's definitely worth a visit to admire the building and its history.

Explore the memorial above ground but be sure to also visit the museum underneath. It is the personal and family stories that bring the horror of the times into your heart.

It's a great reminder of the division and oppression that occurred during the Cold War. The outdoor exhibits were really well done and provide a tangible sense of the scale and impact of the wall. I highly recommend visiting this memorial for anyone interested in history and understanding the past.

East Side Gallery, a section of the Berlin Wall covered in impressive paintings by international artists, is a powerful symbol of freedom and unity. Walking around such a symbol, admiring the artwork and feeling its history is an unforgettable experience.

Museum Island is a must-see for anyone visiting Berlin. The collection of museums is excellent, with a wide range of artifacts and art from different historical periods. The buildings themselves are beautiful, with stunning architecture and well-maintained gardens.

Another spot on Museumsinsel that you shouldnt miss is Berliner Dom / Berlin Cathedral. Definitely the best spot in city centre to get a 360-degree Berlin city view. We picked a sunset time to visit last trip and it was speechless, love the views so much!! But you have to prepare to walk a lot of stairs (270!!) before seeing this wonderful scene!

The Cathedral itself is also a magnificent building to visited with colourful interior with mosaics and stories! Remember to purchase tickets online in advanced to avoid the queue at the door (€9@adult)

The view from the Fernsehturm is impressive. The TV tower soars up to 368 meters in the sky. The sphere is made of steel and coverd by glass which is almost 203 meters from the ground, the elevators take you there in nearly 40 seconds. Once you walk out of the elevator, you'll be greeted by the sphere staff and show you the way to the viewing platform. On clear-weather days If you’re lucky, you can watch very distant objects and sights of Berlin ahead of you. Take your time and try to recognize other Berlin sights from the tower using your own vision or aided by binoculars,
I belive the best time to visit the tower is on a clear sunny day so you can take some photos of Belin from that height. The TV tower of Berlin is an ideal location for taking pictures, even though the windows of the sphere might be a bit dirty. If you get the opportunity to go up to the tower restaurant on the upper level of the sphere, you should enjoy a snack or a drink with an amazing panoramic view of Berlin City.

The interior architecture of the building is amazing and has withstood the test of time. The Berlin Philharmonic is world class and if you can get tickets well worthwhile seeing perform. Most performances have short talks before them about the performance (in German). These talks are very informative and interesting.

We reserved a tour guide in English 6€. I 100% recommend. Our guide Andreas Hoffman was absolutely brilliant. He was super knowledgeable and passionate when relaying the history of the prison and the persecution of the prisoners post Ww2.
It was extremely sad to hear about the psychological and ill treatment of prisoners which would have have had an effect on the individual if fortunate to be released.
I 100% recommend a visit if in Berlin.

A great place to visit for a family with teens and adults .
    It offers everything from
Modern day current venue for football home venue to where the 1936 olympics were held.
    Bags of history !
We took a guided tour which was well worth it and maximised the visit .
Another MUST for a family visit to Berlin .

Situated in the Tiergarten the Siegessaule is well worth a visit to get an incredible view of the city. Although it is very impressive to look at in its own right, it costs €4 for entry for an adult and be aware there are a lot of steps and it is pretty tight staircase for 2 way traffic.
