This small church is a highlight of the excuberant Bayerische roccoco style. Beautiful decorated. When you want to visit only one church, take this one.

The baroque building from the beginning of the 18th cenury consists of an upper and lower church.
We already visited the upper church before, but were happy that the lower part was open during our latest visit to Munich.
The lower church was originally intended for the printing house of the Congregation of the Jezuites. It was not until the end of the 19th century that the space was converted into a church that resembles a crypt.

‘Schloss’ seems to exaggerate the gravitas of Blutenburg. What stands today is more in the manner of a peaceful country estate than a fortress but it wasn’t always so. It may have been better at keeping people in than out, none more dangerous than Lola Montez.

Today the Schloss fulfils some role in children’s libraries that is, frankly, beyond me. Doesn’t matter, the moat remains, the chapel is a thing of beauty and you can wander through the courtyard at will. An interesting restaurant, Schlossschänke Blutenburg, operates at the side. The menu during my visit was duck and out of respect for the dozens of them in the moat, I went hungry.

The Schloss is a sunny-day must-do. You can safely cycle the 12k's there if you are that crazy. S2 train to Obermenzing, bus 143 stops right outside.

I stumbled upon this church on my way to my hotel, and what a find! Located in the middle of quiet, residential area, this church is worth seeking out. Located right at the U6 Harras stop, and literally two blocks from the S Bahn, this church is easy to find. It is beautiful inside, and after a long day of sightseeing, the perfect place to spend a few moments in quiet contemplation.

A green lung, with a lot of history, today used for relaxing, walking, jogging and running. On the west side you'll find a play ground and a sports area.

We booked a tour with Taff to better understand the history of the area and we were so glad we did. Taff is not only very knowledgeable but also personable and funny. We learned so much and his use of “props” and picture books helped us piece it all together. Thank you for a great tour and for your advice on seeing Dachau the next day. Definitely recommend Dark History Tours!

I’ve now visited twice, once with my parents in May 2019 and once with my brother and his girlfriend in July 2019 - I can’t recommend this place enough! I’ve played both missions now (message in a bottle and Alien Invasion) and both are available in perfect English. Alien invasion was definitely my favourite, but both missions have certain aspects that will make you go ‘WOW!’ Great for all ages, very fun and will definitely put your mind and teamwork skills to the test! Thanks Andreas for making both experiences so great!

Dan’s mom would be very proud of the way Dan looked after this inexperienced old gramma bike rider. What a sweetheart!

Not even the locals get to know Munich like this! If you are new in the city or just passing by, do not miss the chance to ride with Gerti and the terrific guide/driver!!

We booked the Alice in Wonderland and had so much fun! After we finished we had the chance to do another room (Weltreise) quite spontaneously. Both rooms are so much fun, the team gives you just enough advice during your 60 minutes in the room that you will definitely make it but still will feel that you accomplished it by yourself. Very well thought through! Would definitely recommend!

I have heard about this Jazzbar as soon as I moved to Munich and have visited it many times. The Jazzbar Vogler should not even need a review: it is a fixture in the nightlife of this city, among those who love Jazz and Blues live music, played in a cozy atmosphere. It’s a place for real enthusiasts of Jazz, where the music is the core of the evening - not just a background. The owner, Thomas Vogler, manages the Jazzbar by himself with true passion, creating an extremely pleasant and familiar environment and personally selecting the artists. Unfortunately, the pandemic has been particularly heavy for all that concerns live Music and the Jazzbar Vogler doesn’t make an exception. I hope that it will soon be possible to enjoy again the music of this Jazzbar, now and for many years in the future.

Fun for the whole family! Beautiful views. Super helpful guide. Our kids had a blast zip lining and climbing the roof. We also learned so much - we learned so much about how the Olympics transformed Munich post world-war, about how Munich dealt with the terrorism during the Olympics, about the amazing construction of the roof.
