The residence is a huge complex where you can stroll around for hours, when you are interested in how the royals where living. If you don't have that interest, it is to much and more or less the same.

I really enjoyed the tour of the stadium. As a big football fan, I’ve always wanted to come to this stadium and I was not disappointed at all.
    The stadium is world-class

Beautiful displays… got a glimpse of private past and future… loved the layout of the items. Actually learnt more about BMW and its history. Enjoyed myself

This museum has a beautiful collection form early middle ages until 1900. Do'nt try to see it all in one visit. We visited the early middle ages and renaissance collection, which is outstanding.

Well worth it, the atmosphere is great. The beers are good, and very lively atmosphere. We came during the week following the opening day, and it was busy pretty much right from gates open in the morning. Service was very efficient, and we met a group of locals on our table that made it an excellent time. We tried two tents and found Schottenhamel to be the more enjoyable experience - more traditional, more local crowd, and lively without being absurd.

Beautiful interior and important landmark (oldest church in the city). We wanted to climb the tower, however you had to have a current negative COVID test to enter.
Pictures inside showing the damage done by WWII bombing.

This small church is a highlight of the excuberant Bayerische roccoco style. Beautiful decorated. When you want to visit only one church, take this one.

Lovely and spacious, you are free to roam. It is basically a massive car sales showroom but a nice experience if you like cars at all. So big, there is a test drive loop. The cafe had fresh, filling and sensible priced food. It was easy to buy BMW museum tickets at the information counter. Possible the cleanest and best maintained toilets in Munich. If not the Northern Hemisphere! Nice gateway to the Olympic Park

I’m interested in history, I admit that I like seeing a good museum on a city break and I did study fascism pre University. This is a very good museum that makes a thorough and objective assessment of Nazism. It doesn’t ‘pull any punches’ - if it thinks citizens ignored warnings then it states that clearly. The detail included in this museum may be too much for the casual tourist - there’s a lot to read. But it has been brilliantly put together and it’s important that it exists - and on the site of the former Nazi HQ too.

You could spend the rest of your life going through this place and reading all the informational write ups. I clocked walking 7 miles from start to finish - my feet were tired. Recommend going to the 6th floor and working your way down to save energy. Whatever your interest in current or old technology, you’ll find a room to fulfill your curiosity. I especially liked the Aviation room, though winding your way through the claustrophobic Mine was also cool. Honestly, a full day of activity, especially on a rainy day.

Museum in an old villa which is extended with a well designed new building. Beautiful collection and well displayed about the "Blaue Reiter" period. On the other floors was a temporary exhibition of other "groups" in modern art, very interesting.
The museum cafe is worth visiting.

When traveling to Munich, my main goal was to visit this place. I was very pleased afterward, is a remarkable place, covering the history of a long-standing global brand. In Munich, it is definitely worth a visit. This is all part of a BMW complex, which includes also the BMW Car Museum and BMW factory.

You cannot miss this museum when in Munich. It is full of great artworks, inviting you to stay there and contemplate and let them talk to you. They offer reduced tickets on Sundays but I would not recommend a visit on Sundays because there are a lot of people and you cannot fully enjoy the experience. The space around is also nice.

The first building was erected in the 12th century and the building that we are seeing today was finished in the 15th century. So it has a certain history behind it.
Built from brick - due to financial reasons in the time of the construction- the church had become one of the iconic landmarks of the city.
The 2 towers are in excess of 98 m each of them and with the local law in Munich that you cannot build anything higher than 99 meters these to towers will be seen from a long distance towering over the city center.
The interior is also interesting - with stained glass windows that are particularly spectacular when is sunshine outside.
Entrance is free of charge - during the opening hours ... however donation are welcome, or if you would like a souvenir you can find a small shop near the main entrance.
Overall a must see when you are in Munich ... definitely a landmark not to be missed.

What a great modern art museum! The building is beautiful on the inside and laid out really well. The exhibit rooms can be a little bit of a maze but it's so huge and the art is really well spaced out and paired.

I appreciated that a lot of the pieces displayed were from female and under-represented artists. In particular compared to museums in the US.

The staff were really nice and helpful. The gift shop is HUGE, I wanted to buy one of everything. Also, very reasonably priced.

I did not view the architecture / design exhibits due to closing time and tired feet.
