We came during the week following the opening day, and it was busy pretty much right from gates open in the morning. Service was very efficient, and we met a group of locals on our table that made it an excellent time. - SussexDUckfield, UK90 contributionsLovely and spacious, you are free to roam. It is basically a massive car sales showroom but a nice experience if you like cars at all. So big, there is a test drive loop. The cafe had fresh, filling and sensible priced food. It was easy to buy BMW museum tickets at the information counter. Possible the cleanest and best maintained toilets in Munich. If not the Northern Hemisphere! - Tiberiu_BaranyiTimisoara, Romania7,466 contributionsThe first building was erected in the 12th century and the building that we are seeing today was finished in the 15th century. So it has a certain history behind it.
Built from brick - due to financial reasons in the time of the construction- the church had become one of the iconic landmarks of the city.
The 2 towers are in excess of 98 m each of them and with the local law in Munich that you cannot build anything higher than 99 meters these to towers will be seen from a long distance towering over the city center.
The interior is also interesting - with stained glass windows that are particularly spectacular when is sunshine outside.
Entrance is free of charge - during the opening hours ... however donation are welcome, or if you would like a souvenir you can find a small shop near the main entrance.

Everything is indicated and a lot of connections are available for everywhere.
