- X del SudMunich, Germany8 contributionsI have heard about this Jazzbar as soon as I moved to Munich and have visited it many times. The Jazzbar Vogler should not even need a review: it is a fixture in the nightlife of this city, among those who love Jazz and Blues live music, played in a cozy atmosphere. It’s a place for real enthusiasts of Jazz, where the music is the core of the evening - not just a background. The owner, Thomas Vogler, manages the Jazzbar by himself with true passion, creating an extremely pleasant and familiar environment and personally selecting the artists. Unfortunately, the pandemic has been particularly heavy for all that concerns live Music and the Jazzbar Vogler doesn’t make an exception. I hope that it will soon be possible to enjoy again the music of this Jazzbar, now and for many years in the future.Written 11 June 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Shawn10 contributionsWe arrived earlier prior to lunch and were able to be seated. It became more crowded as time went on. As that occurred, the service was so so, but that is pretty normal and it wasn't unbearable.Written 21 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- FredericIsteurSheffield, UK5 contributionsBit out the way . Not expensive . But the waiters/bouncers constantly walking about the place are on the whole intimidating and some kinda rude.
The food is ok and beer is excellent. - The_HussiteBasingstoke, UK45 contributionsThis is the bar in the 25 Hour hotel. It's opulently decorated, friendly and busy (you may need to wait for a seat). Not as overpriced as some hotel bars, and they serve good ginWritten 8 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- joshskipperLondon, UK20 contributionsHuge amounts of football memorabilia, in a cosy but atmospheric pub.
Offers table service so you don't have to miss the match, with payment made at the end of your stay, to avoid fumbling around with cash during the game.
When we went, multiple matches were being shown, so they made an effort to sit everyone so they could watch the game they wanted. Tiered seating around the sides of the pub were an excellent use of space.
I would advise booking a seat in advance. The waiter was very accommodating of us despite us not booking, but naturally the best seats go to those who book.
Note, I believe it is cash only, which was inconvenient for me, but Munich in general doesn't seem to accept card payments in the same way that England does.
Only downside was that I came to watch Chelsea get beat 3-1 by Spurs, but I can't blame Stadion for this!Written 27 November 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Adam SAshford, UK60 contributionsAfter dragging my girlfriend around numerous places to enjoy the fine German beer I took her here. It was a nice change of scenery with a great feel about the place. A large selection of cocktails to choose from and bottomless bowls of popcorn to nibble on. It was definitely a place the local city drinkers come to for good music and good drink. We would come back again if visiting the city on another occasion. And don't worry about not knowing the local language, menu was in English so spot on.Written 12 March 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

I'd spotted this bar during research for a trip to Munich. and it seemed a must do. Having not fully appreciated the opening times we arrived several hours too early on our first day. However our intrigue was sufficient to return when open and we weren't disappointed. A fantastic concept where you are in full control of how much you drink and how much you spend. As a result prices appeared among the cheapest in the city. However as a tourist the fun element was most important. You pay a €2 deposit (fully refundable) for an i-button and top it up to a spending limit for your drinks. You then select your glass and choice of beer and help yourself; guided by a visual display of how much credit you have left. There is nothing to stop you, although not for me, making a cocktail of all the beers on show. Again any credit remaining on the button is refundable as you return it or you can add to it as you will invariably want to stay for longer than intended. You can even take the button away and top up when you revisit.
As we were leaving a couple of young locals entered with their already charged button. Sadly business hasn't been so good following lockdown and if I had the finance I'd certainly look to invest as it is a brilliant fun idea which can only become more popular as word spreads. Ideal for stag and hen parties I would think and the very helpful and amiable owner Robin would, I'm sure, welcome such groups who would surely want it on their itinerary once they are aware.
In the hope that usage rises again we will certainly head straight there on future visits to the city.Written 22 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - kenny mEdinburgh, UK163 contributionsThis was our most popular bar to go for a drink. At night there is live music the food there is great also. We ate there a couple of times for breakfast. Had the usual breakfast also had the Irish stew which was good too. The prices more or less matched everywhere else. Easy to get served at the bar too the staff do a great job. Patrick was a good guy for us to meet helped us when we asked for anything. All in all a great place to go for food drinks and live music so you really could spend all day and night there.Written 29 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- martamodiMunich, Germany375 contributionsAlthought you dont need to pay entrance to get in (which is good), drinks are a bit expensive. Not a very big surprise as it is next to the most expensive street in Munich.
Latino music, great to dance. Very crowded on Saturdays.Written 25 March 2014This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Philip_BolsterGroningen, The Netherlands753 contributionsThe bar serves all kinds of beer and also some simple Bavarian dishes, which taste good. - Srinath123Hosur, India122 contributionsEnded up here after a long walk by the Isar river during winter. We were cold and hungry and this place was cozy and smelled really good. We had just a Apfelstrudel with coffee, but they were excellent. I will come to this place again during summers for a nice beer.Written 8 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
