Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Right behind Opera and once inside, it's all about the space under the dome. Cleverly, there's a glass floored walkway that extends out into the void on the third floor so my wife and friend booked a time slot to test their fear of heights. I was more sensible and sat at a table in the café to the side, watching with a café au lait.

The shop is huge and covers several floors and an adjoining building, but I think you come for the glorious spectacle that is the glass dome.

    A must see

This place is touristy but still worth a stop in my opinion, if you love books. It’s quaint in and of itself, and there are some awesome literary finds (both new and vintage).

Never saw so many kinds of foods & gorgeous flowers! Lots of other stuff there, too. Clothes, jewelry, purses, home stuff, etc. Great prices! It’s just huge & amazing!!

My hubby and I were walking around different areas of Paris, and decided to come to this department store. We didn't realize it was going to be a very high-end store, so we basically walked thru, browsing at some items. The store areas are very nice, but we felt a bit awkward as all staff just stared at us as we walked along. Would have rated that average, but it is a lovely store. Reminded us of Holt Renfrew in Toronto, with all the high-end designer boutique shops in one large department store.

A “foodies paradise” and must stop. Fill up with fresh produce, cheese, chocolate, baked goods and more. Next time in Paris, I might just stay at an Air b&b just to take full advantage of this treasure.

Not quite what I was expecting but I actually quite liked it. Definitely different as the artists are in situ - some good, some not so good. Probably appeals to the younger audience but I did purchase a small piece of art from @fay.l_art who was lovely.
I would recommend if you want something a little different on your itinerary.

Lives up to its reputation as one of the most charming streets in Paris. Of course there are many charming streets in Paris. But if you find yourself near the wonderful 7th, do not miss Rue Cler.

This market was close to the apartment where we stayed, so we walked over one morning and bought some delicious fresh food. This is a very large market in an historic building. It's a lively place, good place to tour for any foodie.

Located in the second Arr, the is a rather pretty passage way, plenty architecture to admire, whilst walking through, we especially love that it is dog friendly.

A great way to see a ton of Dali's sculptures in depth. They have more than just his sculptures of course, but they seem to be the central theme. While they did not offer an audio tour, all the pieces have descriptions by them for you to read. Certainly a must do for Dali lovers, however, I am not sure its a must do for anyone else.

You'll probably spent about 30-45 minutes with ease. Connected to the museum is a small gallery where you can purchase his work or work by other artists inspired by Dali. We went during a weekday and had no problem walking up and purchasing tickets, however, I believe they sell them in advance on-line and that might be worth doing to avoid issues.

Its a proper flea market - definitely worth a visit. I would say 3-400 stalls with a variety of goods as always, it was the last weekend in August so I wondered if there would be a lot of stallholders there. Some decent bargains to be had, especially in glass and paintings and junky jewellery. As others have said it starts to close up around 12. You can get a coffee or lunch at the metro station and its on the RER so easy to get around. We will come back next time we are in Paris for sure.

Best croissant in Paris! Lovely produce, cheese, fois gras, handmade jewelry, clothing, and leather journals. We went for the pastry and came back with much more. Much nicer market than others we have seen in Paris.

Every day in Paris you can discover new places, for example go to the oldest market in Paris, named after the nearby hospital where orphans were clothed in red, and has been standing since 1628.
Here you can see the warm atmosphere of the people, buy fresh fruits or taste various foods and enjoy the atmosphere

I absolutely loved the market, which was less than a block from where we stayed in the 15th Arrondissement. It's held right under the train tracks for block. You can find anything and everything from cheeses, butchers, fresh vegetables and fruits, even clothes at the market on Wednesdays and Sundays. I found a nice pair of gloves and sunglasses on Sunday then went again on Wednesday and found a hat to match my gloves. I highly recommend if you get the chance to visit.
