- LAFAMILLEG11231Brooklyn, NY1,472 contributionsamazing visit, fresh water can be chilly but well worth it.
Definitely worth a day trip from wherever you are staying.Written 10 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - TrailBlazer4319757 contributionsVery nice trip combining sight seeing island visit aperitif and amazing boat speed experience
Special mention to our guide Cesar friendly attention ate and an amazing fast boat driverWritten 12 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Marco ALondon, UK268 contributionsWorthy to spend the day there, characteristic island. Bring your umbrella, it is almost impossible to get some shed otherwise. Also, bring food and plenty of water with you. The journey to get to Lavezzi island was worth the trip to be honest. Amazing.Written 20 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Marco ALondon, UK268 contributionsBeautiful clear water. Perfect for families. Although was very busy in August. Impossible to rent to an umbrella and chairs.
To escape the crowd, we walked to the far right end of the beach and found a quiet and secluded spot on the rocks with easy access to the sea.Written 20 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Larry WLos Angeles, CA679 contributionsJust another fabulous Corsican beach with smooth sand, good food, chaise lounges. Well worth going to.Written 10 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Marco ALondon, UK268 contributionsI spent a beautiful day exploring and getting lost in Bastia. So many lovely corners to bump into, I would highly recommend to go without a plan in mind and just spend the day walking aroundWritten 20 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Larry WLos Angeles, CA679 contributionsWe hired a boat with captain to tour this marvelous area. We went from Calvi and opted to go here and not to Les Calanques. I think this was a good choice. For one thing, they are further from Calvi, and also I hope we saw a lot of the rock formations that Calanques would’ve afforded. At any rate, this reserve was spectacular. Varied rock formations and beautiful water. There is no swimming or snorkeling allowed in the reserve, but we did that after we were out of the area. Our captain was very careful to avoid violating park regulations. It was a tremendous day, although we happened to encounter awful seas on the return journey.Written 10 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- waltodavNacton, UK492 contributionsNot quite sure what the difference is but theyre both interesting and there are some great views from the windows on the top floor.Written 30 September 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- h_schamhardtThe Netherlands192 contributionsTake road to Revelletta view point and then follow signs up. Tight road through very strange rock formations. Nice church on the hill with amazing view over Calvi, mountains etc. Unfortunately church itself was closed.Written 5 August 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- MeredithAussieMelbourne, Australia1,932 contributionsLovely to walk around the Vieux Port in the early morning when the yachts are reflected in the still water. You can walk out to the red and green lights on either side of the port, and you can watch the sun rise over the Citadelle.Written 3 August 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- MeredithAussieMelbourne, Australia1,932 contributionsThe early morning sunlight reflecting off the ochre colour of the two front towers is spectacular. Then you’re called inside by the pealing bells. Wow.
You won’t be disappointed by the interior decoration – stained glass, plaster, paintwork (including trompe l’œil), sculptures. The ceiling and the dome above the altar are particularly fine, as is the organ at the rear.Written 3 August 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Jeanette E24 contributionsOur favourite anchorage in Corsica. A beautiful. I’ve with clear water and mostly white sandy bottom. Sadly the coral is mostly dead although there are still small fish in the bay.Written 29 July 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- MydreamBrighton, UK32 contributionsWe had discovered this charming little place while walking, very beautiful view and the color of the water was turquoise.Written 1 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- wrenbobcastleton, ny14 contributionsAfter reading two 2019 reviews reporting dangerous bacteria infested in these beautiful pools. I was very disappointed. I really wanted to go. So instead of just taking their words I decided to research this a little more. I went to the tourist bureau. They said not now but yes 5 years ago there was a problem. But it is controlled and carefully tested now. They were very nice and very reassuring. But it was a tourist bureau! I went online and found what they said is true. 5 years ago bilharziosis, an infection with the parasite Schistosoma was a problem. Not fatal when treated and a simple blood test can diagnose this infection. The biggest problem is PEEING IN THE WATER! They do not ask you not to they tell you not too. There are now public toilets. Not close, but in the parking lots. By the way when this bacteria was found out to be in the river SWIMMING WAS BANNED BY THE GOVERNMENT! It is gorgeous! It is like swimming in silk . Being in the water or lying on the smooth rocks looking up at the pine forests is breathtaking. Not even too far from the most beautiful beaches which is another fantastic experience. There is a snack bar and a restaurant. Also an adventure park which looks like it is more for kids than adults. I am not allowed to put web sites on but check out the internet it has many reassuring articles. In fact The Cavu river is the best monitored river in CorsicaWritten 16 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- NisrinetteIle-de-France, France617 contributionsAmazing view. The place is going through restoration.
To get there take the mini Train from ile rousse city center. The walk is nice but when it's too hot, it's very tiringWritten 31 July 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
