My wife and I walked all thru Old Town and enjoyed the scenery. It is not that large and can easily be done.

This basilica should be one of your “must do” visits in Marseille. The views from its base show the full 360° panorama of Marseille, the Mediterranean and the hinterland, totally unimpeded. It is one of the highest points in the area, so getting there in 35° heat does need to be taken into account. Once inside, the crypt and the main basilica are open to view, however, regardless of personal beliefs, a standard of dress must be worn, so beachwear is not appropriate and you may be turned away at the door. Both the crypt and the basilica are beautifully ordained and the theme of the sea runs clearly across the memorials, icons and pictures. The best way to reach the basilica is via the Petit Train which can be taken from the Vieux Port and Will take you directly up the 500ft hike.

Make sure to find the Traboules and take a walking tour! The church rings at 10 am, and check out the clock inside. Have lunch or dinner at a traditional bouchon Lyonnaise!

A beautiful sight to see! I visited with “free walking tours” but also returned on my own to take in the beauty. The surrounding area is great for walking and there are many nearby shops and restaurants. Conveniently located near the tram!

Beautiful place to visit. Only came for the day but would love to come back for another wander round and sample another bar /restaurant.

If you are passing and it is open then go in as the times are very erratic so don’t miss an opportunity.
Beautiful building with some amazing art/ceiling.
    Free.

Great beach. Beautifully clear water, and very scenic. Not too busy even in July. The sand was scorchingly hot, so don't go barefoot!

It’s great as everyone has said but Nice is quite warm at present. If you want to take the free elevator please note that the entrance is at a different location from the ayes. You have to walk about a km through the old city to the promenade dea anglais side.

Some great magical memories made between myself and my husband as part of our honeymoon.
Friendly staff with most being able to speak English which was reassuring at times.

The character parade and the illumination show at night was AMAZING!!

We came for one FULL day and did not get everything done, so will return again over several days.

However extortionate prices for bottles of water, with little access to public water fountains around the park with some not working.

I am also surprised that MOST of the queues are out in the sun and not shaded with canopies or umbrellas.
Surely you like to protect your customers, especially children?!

Vieux Lille is one town you should never miss visiting. it is one of the best historical town I have cone across in my travekling experience so far. Imagine seeing 3 style of architecture in a building!! Also the nice strolling through the narrow streets and indulging yourself in great ambience cafe and many more.

Visited this park during my visit to Disneyland. Half of park remained closed for renovation at present. Only 1 big ride really to do in this park. Some small rides too. Good shaded areas. Good option of eateries.

The area around the cathedral is very tight. It's hard to get a good photograph, as there are lots of other buildings close by. The site was being renovated and had scaffolding up over part of the side of the cathedral, and nearby was a different construction machine. There are restrooms nearby, and they are underground in what looks like a subway entrance... be prepared to pay .50 euro to go.

Beautiful shady park away from the hustle and bustle of Nantes, complete with café and "green beach" to sit at under the vines with a drink from the on-site bar/restaurant. Splash pond and great play area for children (not that I have any but they looked great). Amazing plants and trees, including one of the older magnolias in Europe (1711) and great greenhouses.
