The Waterford Treasures Medieval Museum is conveniently located within the Viking Triangle. It took us about an hour to visit the museum. Anyone interested in Vikings should visit this museum. I thoroughly enjoy Viking history.

I was working in Waterford but decided to stay over on the Friday night and visit the Greenway. Unfortunately the weather was not great so I only got to see a small stretch from Dungarvan to Durrow. It was just awesome. Salty sea air blowing in off the bay and a dash between the rain drops in the tunnel made for a very memorable work visit.

The Bishop's Palace is conveniently located within the Viking Triangle and across the street from the Waterford Crystal building. The Bishop's Palace contains interesting artwork, Paintings, etc. There is a cafe where you can relax outside after touring the building. There are both guided and self-guided tours available.

Wow! Willie went WAY above and beyond for our private out of season visit. Expectations were exceeded tenfold! We learned so much and got to hold all so many owls and take a walk with a hawk. Truly an experience of a lifetime. So glad we rerouted our trip for this fantastic adventure! An absolute must if you’re anywhere close while they are open for the season.

Reginald's Tower is located within the Viking Triangle. Unfortunately, the day we visited, some of the exhibits were being renovated. Regardless, I enjoyed visiting the castle and the staff were helpful answering all of my questions.

We had an amazing family day out in ardmore open farm. We were surprised by the huge variety of animals to see. Probably the biggest selection compared to other open farms we've been to. Great facilities and very friendly helpful staff. We will definitely be visiting again multiple times.

I was very surprised by this little gem of a find in Waterford. A very old city and the Viking triangle proved to be very interesting with several very informative museums to explore. The Time Museum was a very special find. The guides were friendly and informative. A great way to spend a day in this ancient city.

I have been waiting for a long time for the new cafe and gift shop to open,I visited on its first day and it was everything I hoped it would be ,The cafe is lovely the staff really pleasant and the gift shop full of interesting things to buy,, The walk up however is difficult ,we had an elderly relative who found it too steep and very muddy, it would be better if the parking was nearer,

We had a family day on Clonea Beach during the recent hot weather. It was a beautiful sandy beach and made for safe swimming. It brought back memories of going there on family holidays in my youth - a long time ago. Highly recommended.

No one's talking about the Magic Road!!! So, there's a small section of the drive that's marked with a bolder that says "magic road." It's just a slight hill, but if you stop at the line that's marked, put your car in neutral, and take your foot off the brakes, your car will go up the hill backwards! Maybe for 30 or 40 feet, but fun!
We continued on the drive to a small parking lot, then walked for about 20 minutes to the falls. It's a nice, scenic walk with some sheep in the area (there's some signs for 'no dogs.'

If you are in this area it is well worth the visit, take good hiking shoes and enjoy the climb. some great pools of water. walk from carpark is long with slight hills, apart from that if you are a little slow on feet you should still be able to see the waterfall.

Absolutely fantastic place. Peaceful , prayerful and all round the best 4 days I've spent in a long while . I would recommend it to anyone looking for a break from stresses of life. The brothers, priests an staff could not do enough for you. The rooms are lovely an peaceful and the meals fantastic. Unbelievable value for money. Guests can join in with the various church services during the day if the wish or attend some of them or none if they want. No pressure. The abbey is at the centre of St Declan s long walk through the woods and fields. I Could not recommend this place highly enough.

We visited Lismore Castle gardens on a weekday, mid-morning when there was hardly anyone else around the place so it's probably the best time to go.

Disappointed to see that we couldn't get access to even a small part of the Castle itself, but being in private ownership I suppose it's to be expected.

The gardens themselves are beautifully laid out & I would imagine absolutely gorgeous when in bloom.

The pathways & walkways are fairly easy to navigate even if you're not good on your feet.
