What travellers are saying
- Rob D1 contributionWhat a fabulous experience! All the family thoroughly enjoyed the boat trip. Very relaxing and got to see the canal and area from a different viewpoint after having walked it many times. Great to hear some of the local history from Ross also. Great day out for visitors and locals alike. Really enjoyed it.Written 11 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- pmooney2021Drogheda, Ireland1 contributionBrian proposed our 4 day itinerary and the experience was even better than imagined. Brian has a great knowledge of all we visited and timed all to perfection.Written 16 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Sara M1 contributionI took the tour with my university as part of our Food science study, the program was clear before the start of the trip and it was very well organized.
The guide is knowledgeable, extremely friendly and nice.
We were exposed to different sides and sceneries of the country were havn't seen.
Every company or small local business , chocolate, wine, meat and cheese industries we visited was very welcoming and generous in sharing their work and products for our tasting buds.
The Family house visit at the end of the tour was just amazing, to relax, eat, socialize and enjoy the taste of Ireland.
Highly recommend!Written 11 August 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Pink PeugeotCopenhagen, Denmark154 contributionsThis tour was really well thought out and delivered with passion and professionalism. The guides Dermot and Bronagh were both wonderful and it was obvious they had built up strong relationships with everyone we visited during the day-long tour. It included stops at 7 locations, including several working farms, heritage sites and food producers. Even if you are not a complete foodie, you would enjoy this tour from the Irish heritage angle as well as meeting Irish people in their working farms. Everywhere we visited we were warmly welcomed and given the best of food. If you are a foodie then this tour is a real treat too - getting out into the Irish countryside and seeing where the local produce comes from was a delight! Would highly recommend as a very high quality day long experience. Good value too!Written 10 November 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
