Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- nohassle1956gulf shores380 contributionsNice big castle to see. 10 euros apeice to enter for seniors. The castle give you a tremendous amount of history about Ireland and England. It is given in written form and by short videos. Very interesting. The walk around the castle is nice. You get to go up and down. There are some really nice views from the tower. You park on the street as there is no dedicated parking.Written 11 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kevin CManchester, UK5 contributionsA great experience. Guided by the expert resident, we were introduced to the extensive range of plants in the garden, to the lovely lily pond, and magnificent greenhouse. There is a staggering number of rock plants which anyone with an interest should view. Finished off the visit with a cup of tea/coffee and a shot of port as well as plant cuttings and seeds.Written 12 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RiaWBerkshire, UK50 contributionsAmazing site for a walk. Coffee and snacks available. The very small visitor's centre however not really worth the money, as held our attention for about 5 mins. Although it was not too expensive at 15 Euro for a family ticket.Written 26 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Eva C1 contributionThe Mulk Market is a Limerick institution, a great place to meet your friends, and grab a tasty snack, as well as shop for fruit and veg, fish and bread, cakes, jams, you name it. My favourite: the delicious falafels and burgers at Damas, made with love by this sympathetic couple. Then a sand-heated Turkish coffee, and the obligatory onion baked from Spices of India.Written 17 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - nohassle1956gulf shores380 contributionsNice place to visit in limerick. 5 euros a person to enter. We had a nice conversation with the lady selling the tickets. Gave us some insight of the church. The church is beautiful. Some nice statues and a beautiful organ. It is nice to see that services still go on every morning. It was fun to walk around. There is no parking per service you just park wherever you can on the street and walk there.Written 11 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Irene EGreenville, SC20 contributionsCool Brewery! We signed up with the Discover Limerick Pass and we received a tasting of 5 beers. All extremely good. Steven, the owner, spent some time with us and gave us the background of the brewery and the different types of beers. Definitely check this place out!Written 3 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Denis14 contributionsWe have been visiting Tera for the last 4/5 years and every time we visit, we adore every second.
This visit- we were 3 adults and 3 children (8,5&3) and there was something for everyone.
Entry is €8/adult and €6/child with access to free tea, coffee and biscuits. You will not find better value anywhere
There are lovey fairy statues and doors everywhere with a story that follows the adventures of Delvin.
At the end, there is a lovely hobbit house with an amazing value shop. (There were fairy doors there for at least half the price of some other shops)
We hope to visit again before the end of the summer and tell all our friends about the amazing gem.Written 3 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We booked a museum and stadium tour but due to a mix up the tour wasn’t running when we arrived at the allotted time and date
We were asked to return the next day and when we did we were greeted at reception and taken to the museum.
Muireann let us spend as much time as we wanted looking at the old kits, trophies and memorabilia.
We were then shown to the media area and press room before being taken to the home dressing room.
We then got taken down the tunnel and onto the pitch.
The groundsmen were hard at work mowing the pitch so we couldn’t walk out onto the turf but we took loads of pictures.
It was an amazing experience for any rugby fan and in our opinion it’s a must do when anywhere near LimerickWritten 7 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Amanda B18 contributionsDidn't know what to expect when I first arrived with my three teenage daughters. Must say we had a ball. Our karts were modified for the younger age as there were some kids there with their families and I thought it would be very slow.
Was I wrong !! These kids took over Luke pros's 😅 I thought 20 minutes wasn't nearly enough time though as you only kind of get into the speed after 10/15 minutes, especially if it is your first time ... And then 5 minutes later you're finished . 30 minutes would be better especially for the price. 30€ each.
Other than that great fun and a definite must !!Written 7 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Peaceful most of the time on a Sunday anyway and right next to the park so the kids can go mad afterwards. Swanzy exhibition was excellent as was Ryan (what is that white dog/llama). O'Dwyer was waaaay over my head. Very abstract. Kids thought it was mad but good to expose them to different versions of Art.Written 8 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Angela M2 contributionsAn outstanding tour of The People's Museum Limerick by the wonderful Cahill. Extensive preservation of this period property. Great attention to maintaining each room and an eclectic mix of artefacts, items and also various limited exhibitions eg. Ryans Jewellery shop display over the years and a local Limerick pharmacy had an exhibition there too. Wonderful garden, stables, access to the underground coal bunker and an interesting exhibition of both childrens toys of bygone eras as well as a wonderful display of all things Frank McCourt and Angela's Ashes. Definitely #1 place to visit in Limerick. Something for everyoneWritten 29 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
